Picture Book (deutsch: Bilderbuch) ist das Debütalbum von Simply Red, das im Oktober 1985 erschien. Vom Album wurden bisher 3.310.000 Exemplare verkauft. Neben Eigenkompositionen enthält es zwei Coverversionen: Heaven (im Original von Talking Heads aus dem Jahr 1979) und Money’s Too Tight (To Mention) (von den Valentine Brothers aus dem Jahr 1982). Der Verkaufserfolg ließ sich durch die recht erfolgreich gewordene Ballade Holding Back the Years tragen, die im Juli 1986 die Spitzenposition in den USA erreichte. Musik aus dem Album wurde in gleich vier Folgen der in den 1980er Jahren sehr populären Serie Miami Vice verwendet.

Sanctuary is the debut solo studio album released by Blue band-member and singer, Simon Webbe. The album was released on November 14, 2005, peaking at number seven on the UK Albums Chart, selling more than 600,000 copies in the United Kingdom. The album was later certified double platinum by the BPI. Three singles were released from the album: "Lay Your Hands", which peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart, "No Worries", which also peaked at number four, and "After All This Time", which peaked at number 16.

Simply Red are a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1985. The lead vocalist of the band is singer and songwriter Mick Hucknall, who, by the time the band initially disbanded in 2010, was the only original member left. Since the release of their debut studio album Picture Book (1985), they have had ten songs reach top 10 in the UK Singles Chart, including "Holding Back the Years" and "If You Don't Know Me by Now", both of which reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. They have had five number one albums in the UK, with their 1991 album, Stars, being one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.

Laundry Service (Spanish: Servicio de Lavandería) is the fifth studio album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, globally released on 13 November 2001 by Epic Records. It is her first album to be primarily recorded in English. After the release of her fourth studio album Dónde Están los Ladrones?, which became a success in Latin America, Shakira was encouraged by American singer Gloria Estefan to record songs in English as she believed the singer had the potential to crossover into the English-language pop market. The title of the album was chosen to reflect Shakira's views on love and music.
