After a bad morning with my Uncle, I came home and this CD was ready to listen to. Tony Christie is a great singer. He does an excellent job when he sings “Most Beautiful Girl” (Charlie Rich), “Way We Were” (Gladdis Nite and the Pips), “You’ve Lost That Loving Feeling” (Righteious brothers) and another Charlie Rich cover, “Daddy Don’t you Walk So Fast”. Tony is best remembered for a Neil Sedaka penned classic, “Is This the Way to Ammarillow”. I also enjoyed songs like “Loss Vagus”, “Drive Home Safely, Darling”, a song about a girl who says her last goodbye and gets killed in a car accident, “I Did what I Did For Maria”, Don’t Go Down to Remo” and “Avenues and Allyways”. It’s a god damn shame this CD is out of print! I think the selection on this particular CD is better than “the Definitive Collection” because Tony’s best work was his 1970’s stuff and the stuff he recorded later on including “Walk Like a Panther”, thankfuly not included here was one of the worst songs of all- time.

Hollywood is the fourth studio album by the close harmony trio The Puppini Sisters, released through Decca on 4 November 2011. The album was released on 26 December in the United Kingdom. Hollywood is the trio's homage to the classic music of the silver screen. The album features ten cover versions of popular songs from films and musicals, as well as one original song written by the group. Hollywood was recorded with The Puppini Sisters standing round one microphone. It is the last album to be recorded with Stephanie O'Brien, who departed the group in 2012. Hollywood received mixed reviews from critics and charted at Number 16 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.

Johnny Moore, who sang lead on many of the Drifters' classic hits in the 50s and 60s, restarted the group in England in the 1970s. No need to recount the history here - Google it. This group isn't trying to sound the same as the prior American iterations but Johnny Moore is up front with his amazing voice and this makes them legit. Folks in the Carolinas who enjoy shagging and beach music will love this CD.

Ölürüm Sana (I'd Die For You) is Tarkan's third studio album, released on July 5, 1997. The album was distributed in both Europe and Asia. It sold more than 3 million copies in Turkey, and a total of 4.5 million worldwide, and sales continued till 2003. This album received very good reviews, becoming one of Turkey's best-selling albums, and played a heavy role in catapulting Tarkan to the status of 'Mega-Star'.

"Viva Forever" is a song recorded by English girl group the Spice Girls for their second album, Spiceworld (1997). It was written by the group with Matt Rowe and Richard Stannard, whilst produced by the latter two. The song was released on 20 July 1998 in the United Kingdom and received critical acclaim. The song also charted well becoming the band's seventh UK number one single gaining a Platinum certification whilst also topping the charts in New Zealand. The single was a commercial success despite poor promotion.
