A Better World is the 21st studio album by Chris de Burgh, released on Butler Records. The central themes of the 15 new tracks are love, war, the past, the future, religion, equality and world peace. The new album includes 15 brand new self-penned songs which encompass all the craftsmanship learnt from the more than 280 songs written by this master songwriter. The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 was the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in the Ericsson Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, following Sweden's victory at the 2015 contest in Vienna with the song "Heroes", performed by Måns Zelmerlöw. This was the third time the contest had taken place in Stockholm, after 1975 and 2000, the latter also being held at the Globe. The contest consisted of two semi-finals on 10 and 12 May and the final on 14 May 2016, with all three live shows hosted by Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede.

Glory is the ninth studio album by American singer Britney Spears. RCA Records released the album on August 26, 2016. It became available for pre-order on all music digital distribution platforms at midnight ET on August 3, 2016. Spears released the first single from the album, "Make Me...", on July 15, 2016. Alongside the pre-order, a new track was released, titled "Private Show", which was previously teased in the commercial for the fragrance of the same name. Since the announcement of the album, Spears has further teased the new music through the release of promotional singles "Clumsy" and "Do You Wanna Come Over?". Glory received generally positive reviews from music critics.

Long awaited comeback from Felicia Adams who first came to wider attention via her ‘Read My Lips’ CD from 2004. ‘Re-birth’ has all the hallmarks of her old school sensibilities especially on the beautiful, laid back ‘Baby, Baby’, the throwback, vintage Motown-esq curveball of ‘Music Thang’ and the lazy, hypnotic ‘Melody’. ‘Best Of Me’ brings in some funk and see Felicia turn up the attitude a notch or two, ‘Wake Up’ is a blissful dreamy mid tempo highlight.

Simply Red release their first new studio album in eight years with Big Love out June 1st on East West Records. When the band announced a massive world tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary last autumn, main man Mick Hucknall started thinking about recording again. “Once I began wondering how Simply Red were going to sound, I started writing songs,” says Mick. And once he started, he couldn’t stop. Big Love is the first Simply Red album to feature only original compositions since 1995’s ‘Life’. All twelve tracks are written by Mick Hucknall and produced by Andy Wright. Highlights include the celebratory first single ‘Shine On’ driven by their trademark blue-eyed soul sound and ‘The Ghost Of Love’, a big soul song punctuated by wah-wah guitar and the kind of bold orchestral strokes that once powered Barry White and his Love Unlimited.
