1492: Conquest of Paradise is a 1992 music score to the film of the same name by Greek electronic composer and artist Vangelis. The film, a recount of the voyage to America in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, was directed by Ridley Scott, for whom Vangelis had previously composed the music score for Blade Runner, in 1982. The album and the single "Conquest of Paradise" enjoyed a revival in 1995 for various reasons and broke many sales records.

Moulin Rouge! Music from Baz Luhrmann's Film, Vol. 2 is a soundtrack album to Baz Luhrmann's 2001 film Moulin Rouge!. It was released on February 26, 2002. It is the follow-up to the original soundtrack, which was released a year prior. The album features original film versions of some songs, remixes and instrumentals.

"Theme from A Summer Place" is a song with lyrics by Mack Discant and music by Max Steiner, written for the 1959 film A Summer Place, which starred Sandra Dee and Troy Donahue. It was recorded for the film by Hugo Winterhalter. Originally known as the "Molly and Johnny Theme", the piece is not the main title theme of the film, but a love theme for the characters played by Dee and Donahue.

I like this recording, although not as much as the official soundtracks. These arrangements are not those heard in the film, but redone by one of the composers (Coppola, d.1991). That's not necessarily a bad thing, however. On the bright side, it includes many songs not found on the standard soundtracks, including some found in The Godfather's Family Wedding Album, which is perhaps the best of all the Godfather soundtracks.

Some Like It Hot is a 1959 American comedy film directed by Billy Wilder and starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. The supporting cast includes George Raft, Pat O'Brien, Joe E. Brown, Joan Shawlee and Nehemiah Persoff.
In 2000, the American Film Institute listed Some Like It Hot as the greatest American comedy film of all time.

Imagine: John Lennon is a soundtrack album of popular music compiled for the 1988 documentary film Imagine: John Lennon from songs written or co-written by John Lennon. Originally released that year as a double album, it now remains available on one CD.
Bridging his two musical phases together, as a member of the Beatles and a solo artist (similar to George Harrison's earlier The Best of George Harrison), Imagine: John Lennon is a career-spanning collection of Lennon's many musical highlights. In addition there are a couple of heretofore unreleased recordings: an acoustic demo of "Real Love" taped in 1979 (an alternative recording of which would be finished by The Beatles for 1996' s Anthology 2) and a rehearsal take of "Imagine" in mid-1971 before the final take was captured. It also features for the first time a clean-intro version of "A Day in the Life", that would appear later on the CD release of The Beatles' 1967–1970 compilation.

В этот раз знаменитому Хансу Циммеру помогает мексиканский гитарный дуэт Родриго и Габриеллы. Сюжет фильма навеян романом Тима Пауэрса "В неведомых волнах". Съёмки происходили на островах Кауаи и Оаху Гавайского архипелага. Если сравнивать с предыдущими выпусками, музыка к четвёртой части ленты получилась более популярной, но всё равно, не лишённой интереса и в отдельных местах очень даже живой и напористой. На протяжении всего диска можно услышать также довольно интересные гитарные импровизации на тему Пиратов. Под завершение, в качестве бонусов к изданию, слушателя ждёт небольшой уклон в электронику. Отдельно стоит отметить великолепное качество звучания этой фонограммы.
