Windows is a live album by Jon Lord and the German conductor and composer Eberhard Schoener; the music and the record are primarily credited to Lord. It was taped at a concert in Munich, (West) Germany on 1 June 1974 and the music is a mix between progressive rock and orchestral late romantic/modernist styles.

Along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, Deep Purple is the third piece of the marvelous trinity who are the creators of heavy metal. The story of Deep Purple as a band continues to this day and has weathered many a storm and changes of band members. Houston Swing Engine est un groupe suisse formé en 2001. Il regroupe notamment le chanteur de feu Unfold, le guitariste et le batteur de feu Shovel, et le chanteur de Kruger passé à la basse. Un changement de bassiste a eu lieu peu avant la tournée de The Tiger Flamboyant, Renaud étant très occupé par Kruger et son label RRRecords(Ronald Reagan Records).
Le batteur Frank a aussi officié dans A Season Drive, groupe actuellement mort, dans lequel il était guitariste.
Le style est à la croisée du Rock hardcore / punk pour le chant et du stoner pour la musique, le tout étant terriblement groovy.
Leur dernier album Entre hommes est sorti en avril 2007 et semble enfin célébrer l'amour unisexe qu'ils n'ont cessé de revendiquer lors de leurs concerts.

Hughes Turner Project (HTP) was a musical project formed in the 2001 by bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (formerly of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath, etc.) and vocalist Joe Lynn Turner (formerly of Rainbow and Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force). They released two albums, a live album and one joint project with Mikhail Men.

Following their 1991 We Can't Dance tour, Genesis released two live albums - Genesis Live: The Way We Walk Volume One: The Shorts and Genesis Live: The Way We Walk Volume Two: The Longs. While The Longs was aimed more at the long-term progressive fans, The Shorts was geared more toward the newer 'singles' fans.
I fit into the Longs category. Despite having great live versions of songs such as "No Son of Mine", "Mama", and "Hold on my Heart", this just doesn't do anything for me. I can pretty much do without the Invisible Touch tracks, and there's little of necessity to tracks such as "I Can't Dance" and "That's All". But i'll cut my losses now while i'm ahead. It is, after all, The Shorts, and if i didn't want to hear the shorts, i'd put in The Longs instead, no? Which i will do 10 times out of 10... all the reason i needed to part with this.
Fairly smart move, though... one live CD for the Invisible Touch Club, another for the progheads, and neither has to be bogged down by the 'other' Genesis.

The Glitter Band are a glam rock band from England, who initially worked as Gary Glitter's backing band under that name from 1973, when they then began releasing records of their own. They were unofficially known as the Glittermen on the first four hit singles by Gary Glitter from 1972 to 1973.
The Glitter Band had seven UK Top 20 hit singles in the mid-1970s, and three hit albums. Pete Phipps and John Springate are still currently touring with The Glitter Band. John Rossall and Harvey Ellison tour under their own names.

Saved is the 20th studio album by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, released on June 23, 1980, by Columbia Records. Saved was the second album of Dylan's "Christian trilogy", following his conversion to Evangelical Christianity. It expanded on themes explored on its predecessor Slow Train Coming, with gospel arrangements and lyrics extolling the importance of a strong personal faith.

Good Singin', Good Playin' (Хорошее пение, хорошая игра) - 11-й студийный альбом американской хард-рок группы "Grand Funk Railroad". Записан весной-летом 1976 года на собственной студии группы The Swamp в городе Паршельвилль (Мичиган), вокал был дописан в Лос-Анджелесе на студии The Record Plant, там же альбом и микшировался. Вышел в США на лейбле MCA Records 2 августа 1976 года. Продюсером и звукооператором выступил единолично Фрэнк Заппа, приблизивший звучание группы к более коммерческому звучанию. Он же отыграл в некоторых местах на гитаре вместе с Марком Фарнером.Последний великий альбом великой группы. Дальше - уже не GFR, а практически один лишь Марк Фарнер. На Заппу наезжать нечего - без него этого альбома бы не было.

Впервые, Гай встретил Марка Нопфлера в 1983 году, когда они оба работали над саундтреком для фильмов Cal и Comfort And Joy, вышедшие в 1984 году. В дальнейшем, Гай участвовал в записи всех звуковых дорожек, написанных Марком Нопфлером: The Princess Bride 1987 года, Last Exit To Brooklin 1989 года, Metroland и Wag The Dog 1998 года, A Shot At Glory 2001 года. На новой работе группа продолжает путь более рокового звучания, начавшегося ещё с Leaving Eden, отойдя к тому времени от огромной доли электронных и трип-хоповых мотивов, присущем ранним работам. Сразу же с началом нового альбома нас окутывает характерная для группы узнаваемая грустная мелодия того самого меланхоличного налёта, присущая, в общем-то, всем работам группы. На слух ложится узнаваемый слегка треморный вокал Мика Мосса, придающий, без сомнений, особый шарм песням и, как нельзя кстати, приходящийся для подобной музыки, вздымающий своей дрожью различные эмоции при прослушивании песен. Однако, уже на втором треке Killer проскакивают некогда близкие команде электронные мотивы и синтезаторные полёты звуков, через полторы минуты срываясь в весьма мелодичный энергичный рок с лихими завываниями электро-гитары, вкусными ударными и отзвуками пианино. При этом всё это не столь сильно сдавлено мрачной аурой, что даже несколько бодрит в нынешней осенней атмосфере.

С тех прошло почти 10 лет, перед тем как состоялся первый реюнион: в 1998-м "Black 'N Blue" отыграли один концерт и на его основе выпустили диск "One Night Only: Live". В следующий раз музыканты собрались вместе спустя еще пять лет, только место Тойера, игравшего в "Kiss", теперь занимал Шон Сонненшейн. Группа объявила о намерении записать новый альбом, однако в связи с тем, что Сент-Джеймс с 2004 года начал работать в "Warrant", выход диска был отложен.

Молодость Грэм Боннет провёл в Австралии. Начинал как сессионный вокалист, в конце 60-х помогал ансамблю «Би Джиз». Своим голосом серьёзно занялся в начале 70-х, а в 1977 году ему удалось заключить контракт с фирмой «Фонограм» на запись его сольной пластинки. Пел тогда Грэм всё подряд: от поп- и диско-музыки до самого тяжёлого хард-рока. В 1979 году на оригинальный хриплый голос Боннета обращает внимание Ритчи Блэкмор и решает пригласить его в состав «Рэйнбоу»

Согласно пресс-релизу, на этом CD "представлены лучшие работы легендарного гитариста группы KISS Ace'a Frehley после его ухода из одной из самых великих групп всех времен и народов." Также как и в случае с релизами "12 Picks" (1996) и "Loaded Deck" (1997), сам ACE к выпуску этой пластинки не имеет никакого отношения. На песнях представленных на "Greatest Hits Live" играют музыканты группы ACE FREHLEY'S COMET: Anton Fig (ударные), John Regan (бас), Tod Howarth (гитара / клавишные), Richie Scarlett (гитара) и Jamie Oldaker (барабаны).
