McCartney is the debut album by English rock musician Paul McCartney. It was issued on Apple Records in April 1970 after McCartney had resisted attempts by his Beatles bandmates to have the release delayed to allow for Apple's previously scheduled titles, notably the band's Let It Be album. McCartney recorded his album during a period of depression and confusion, following John Lennon's private announcement in September 1969 that he was leaving the Beatles, and the conflict over its release further estranged McCartney from his bandmates. A press release in the form of a self-interview, supplied with UK promotional copies of McCartney, led to the announcement of the group's break-up on 10 April 1970.

I've been writing songs for as long as i can remember. At the moment I write for the band I've been with for 31 years - Uriah Heep - since 1970 we've played the world and released so many albums so many times i can't count.
I write songs all the time and I do believe a good song will last forever even though there are millions out there in the ether. I'm often asked where the ideas come from, but after having heard so much music there is only one answer - life! It's all there in the way we live. There is music in everything we do, every way we live, good or bad.
The first song, Mind Over Matter, is an ultra possitive rock epic. It says pull out the energy you have inside that's probably lying dormant. Second uptempo song is about the Australian outlaw Ned Kelly and from a true account. Third song Is a dream song about the possibility of us all standing up and saying - stop the hatei!!! The fourth song is about a man explaining to his son that though the world is in turmoil;l it's only life. I've let a little country feel enter on this track and also Carolin. Donna & Joe is about a sparing couple of Smugglers from the eighteenth century. The Bells is about a man who turned rain into Gold! And the Forest is the ending opus about a guy whose partner died and who visits him in the Forest. In the end he goes to her. I wanted something a little more personal in these songs and the musicians and singers who worked on this project helped me achieve that end. My love of strings and choir has been well placed in these arrangements and a lot of time and patience went into the production to make it just right. I hope you find something in these songs that rings true.

Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie (also referred to as simply Buckingham/McVie) is a studio album by Fleetwood Mac vocalists Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, released on June 9, 2017. Four of the five members of Fleetwood Mac are featured on the album, with contributions from drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie. Vocalist Stevie Nicks is the sole member absent from the album. The album sold over 22,000 units in the US in its first week and debuted within the top 20. It proved to be even more successful in the UK, where it debuted within the top 5. In November 2017, the album was also certified silver with sales exceeding 60,000 units.

Swedish band JONO started as a solo project of singer Johan Norrby (hence the moniker ”JoNo”), who has been singing, writing, and playing music in various bands and projects over the years. This applies also for all the other members of the band. Guitarist Stefan Helleblad is a member of Dutch symphonic sensations Within Temptation. Drummer Nicka Hellenberg also played all the drums on Within Temptation's "The Unforgiving" and has an impressive resume involving bands and recordings. Both keyboard player Johan Carlgren and bass player Janne Henriksson are frequently hired for both live and studio sessions. Leo Olsson – also a busy musician – joined the band in 2015.

In the beginning was the dark, a little Thin Lizzy, a touch of Muse, a smidgen of Marillion and a soupçon of Queen. Yes, there are other influences from the history of Prog, but this is the real McCoy (not the clothes shop next door to Manson’s Guitars in Exeter), the real Drifting Sun. Or as keyboardist Pat Sanders put it to me, “this is where we want to be as a band”.

The Book of Souls is the sixteenth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 4 September 2015. It is the band's first studio double album, and therefore also their longest to date, with a total length of 92 minutes. Its launch and supporting tour were delayed to allow vocalist Bruce Dickinson time to recover from the removal of a cancerous tumour in early 2015.
Produced by long-time Iron Maiden collaborator Kevin Shirley, The Book of Souls was recorded at Guillaume Tell Studios, Paris from September to December 2014, which they had previously used for 2000's Brave New World. The band wrote and immediately recorded many tracks in the studio, resulting in a spontaneous live feel. The album's first release, "Speed of Light", was issued as a music video on 14 August, and simultaneously as a digital download and CD single exclusive to Best Buy. In addition to being their longest studio record, it also contains the band's longest song, "Empire of the Clouds", at 18 minutes in length, which was also issued as a single for Record Store Day on 16 April 2016. While not a concept album, references to the soul and mortality are prominent, realised in the Maya-themed cover artwork, created by Mark Wilkinson.

Their fourth album, simply called "IV", by far, the most powerful and devastating of the crew!
The band worked with famous French sound-engineer Brett Caldas-Lima (known for his work for Ayeron, Devin Townsend, Megadeth...) to create a wall of sound and a real sonor identity. It's heavy, it's groovy, it's sexy and melodic...everything Rock Music is about!

A New World Arise is their fourth release, following up on 2013’s Frozen Paradise. Although their catalog is much smaller, comparing the quality and songwriting stealth of their work to a band like Pretty Maids isn’t a stretch. In fact, it’s more a reason to whine; how much better would the benumbed musical landscape be with 10+ more ColdSpell studio albums to turn to?
Guitarist Michael Larsson is the main composer, and you can tell he’s a fan of big riffs, melodic leads, and like all great songwriters, it’s the SONG that matters most, not its separate pieces. “Forever” is a testament to that idea, with racing riffs, a massive chorus and as anyone who has ever heard ColdSpell, lead singer Niclas Svedentorp has a warm, effortless delivery that is all melody and strength. The freakin’ solo is amazing as well. This almost veers into Power Metal with its racing tempo and pounding ferocity.

Songs of Innocence is the thirteenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. Released on 9 September 2014, it was produced by Danger Mouse, with additional production from Paul Epworth, Ryan Tedder, Declan Gaffney and Flood. The album was announced at an Apple Inc. product launch event and released the same day to all iTunes Store customers at no cost. It will be exclusive to iTunes, iTunes Radio, and Beats Music until 13 October 2014, when it will receive a physical release by Island Records. The digital release made the record available to over 500 million iTunes customers, for what Apple CEO Tim Cook marketed as "the largest album release of all time".

End of Eden is the third studio album by Amberian Dawn, and the first released on Spinefarm Records, previous albums having been released on KHY Suomen Musiikki. The album was released on October 20, 2010, but was preceded by its online single Arctica on August 23.
