Wild Frontier is the eighth studio album by Gary Moore, released in 1987. His first studio album after a trip back to his native Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1985, this album has several songs about Ireland and even the music itself is steeped in Celtic roots. The title track was intended to be sung by Phil Lynott, however Lynott's death in January 1986 prevented that. The album is dedicated to Lynott's memory, with the words "For Philip" on the rear cover.

Unisonic’s first live album is a great release packed with some of the band’s strongest songs and the addition of two Helloween classics. The album has captured the band in great form, delivering a very confident and professional performance in Europe’s largest metal festival.
Unisonic is comprised of Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, Place Vendome), Kai Hansen (ex-Helloween, Gamma Ray), Mandy Meyer (Gotthard, ex-Krokus), Dennis Ward (Pink Cream 69, Place Vendomee) and Kosta Zafiriou (ex-Pink Cream 69).
The production is strong, clean and retains the live feel and atmosphere successfully. The album sounds heavier compared to the band’s studio work and most tracks pack more energy when compared to the originals. Out of the Unisonic songs the stand outs are the faster power metal anthems “Your Time Has Come” and “For the Kingdom”, the melodic hard rocker “Exceptional” with its addictive chorus and the catchy “My Sanctuary”. As expected the two Helloween classics are the icing on the cake and both are performed flawlessly. “A Little Time” contains a medley of Judas Priest’s Victim of Changes in the middle of the song, with Kiske delivering a chilling performance. “March of Time” is a little more melodic compared to the original but is just as fast and epic.

Aranis, year 2014: a Belgian band that brings something definitely off the beaten tracks! The second installment in their "Made in Belgium" series (aka MIB 2) is now on the road...and it's more captivating than a thriller! In it, a subtle blend of rejuvenated classical influences mix with (aming other things and with no specific order) a touch of drumless/ clarinetless Balkanic Klezmer- punk, a glimpse of 100% Brussels- deserts tango and a few improvised moments that manage to never really sound like "jazz"...No easy label comes to mind when it comes to describe Aranis' sound...and so its should be! A pretty unpredictable sextet...Classical? Jazz? Folk? Rock?...Well, a little bit of all this...That's what you'll taste in the Aranis pizza! So, why wouldn't you treat your ears and get a slice of it? With real chunks of Peter Vermeersch (FES), Koen Van Roy (Cro Magnon), Walter Hus (Maximalist!), Ananta Roosens (La sieste du dromadaire), Aurelie Dorzee (Aurelia) and many others...

Anekdoten from Sweden are back with a new album (after 8 years) and on bandcamp, hooray! Their typical mellotron-laden sound is intact for good, perhaps a little lighter and less harsh than on their early recordings overall (but not always, e.g. the title song (lighter), "Our Days Are Numbered" (not so light ;-) with old-style Anekdoten bass bashings!). Some valued guests enhance the album (eg. Theo Travis, flute, and ex-Opeth keyboarder Per Wiberg).
