Discovery is the eighth studio album by British symphonic rock band, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO).

In 1974, Jethro Tull announced plans for WarChild, a multi-faceted project that was to encompass a feature-length film, a soundtrack album, as well a new album from the band. In October of that year, Tull released a 10-song album that would climb to #2 in the U.S. and the top 15 in the U.K., but the film and accompanying soundtrack were shelved. To commemorate the 40-year anniversary of this ambitious experiment, Parlophone will revisit WarChild with several releases.

Mr. Bad Guy is the first solo album from Queen singer Freddie Mercury. Released in 1985, during a period in which Queen were on hiatus from recordings, it contains eleven songs, all written by him. It was dedicated "to my cat Jerry-also Tom, Oscar and Tiffany, and all the cat lovers across the universe-screw everybody else".

The album generated three Top 10 singles, the chart-topping rocker "Heartache Tonight", the album's title cut, and the ballad "I Can't Tell You Why". Those singles reached #1, #8 and #8 respectively. The band also won a Grammy Award for "Heartache Tonight". Also featured on the record was "In the City", a song first recorded by their guitarist Joe Walsh for the movie soundtrack for The Warriors.

The Best of Judas Priest is a collection of a few select songs from Judas Priest's first two albums, and was released under Gull, the band's former record label. It was the first of many reissues of the band's earlier material produced in an effort to "capitalize on Judas Priest's popularity" and was released without any consent from the band.

Stop and Smell the Roses is the eighth studio album by Ringo Starr, released in 1981 following the twin commercial disasters of Ringo the 4th (1977) and Bad Boy (1978). Long Distance Voyager is the tenth album by The Moody Blues, first released in May 1981 on the group's Threshold record label. It was the group's first album featuring keyboardist Patrick Moraz (in his past he worked with bands such as Refugee and Yes) in place of co-founder Mike Pinder, who left after Octave in 1978.

Behind the Sun is the ninth album by English guitarist Eric Clapton, released in 1985. The title of the album comes from a line from Muddy Waters's "Louisiana Blues". It is also Clapton's first collaborative project with Phil Collins.

Out of the Blue is the seventh studio album by the British rock group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), released in October 1977. Written and produced by ELO frontman Jeff Lynne, the double album is among the most commercially successful records in the group's history.

Nobody's Perfect is a live album released in 1988 by Deep Purple. It was recorded during The House of Blue Light tour in 1987 in Europe and the USA. The outer sleeve photography was designed by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis.
