Антология современного американского металла. Песни с приглашёнными вокалистами всё равно как-то напоминают группы, в которых они поют. И Lamb Of God, и Testament, и Mastodon, и в чём-то Pantera. Хорошие риффы: и качает, и скорость присутствует, и тяжесть, и мелодичные моменты, и какая-то прогрессивность местами. Ударные с Портным, конечно, интересные. Может, в чём-то схожи с Adrenaline Mob. Вернулись бласт-биты. Соло Школьника классные: что-то и из старого Testament'a, и из нового. 10 хороших песен чистого, настоящего американского метала. Из всей атмосферы этой несколько простоватой музыки они выбрали лучшее и выдали это. Может, местами вторично, и "мы это уже сотни раз слышали", но классно же и приятно.

Сольный альбом прославленного вокалиста Dream Theather - это напичканный хитами тяжелый и мелодичный прогрессивный метал с оттенками шведского гетеборгского дэта, модерн-металла и альтернативы.

Запись материала была сделана на выступлении в родной Греции в декабре 2013 года. Лимитированное европеское двух-дисковое издание от "Season Of Mist" вышло ограниченным тиражом в 3000 копий.

The Asian metal scene has been gaining a lot of attention and recognition around the world, that´s the reason why I will talk about this band, Anthelion. I discovered this band because of Chthonic, from Taiwan too, I like both bands.
This is their first full-length album released in 2007 and released by Ultimate Music.
The sound is very similar to bands like COF, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Carach Angren, they combine heavy parts with some symphonic parts, piano, synths with and heavy guitar riffs. I like the work of Zeist in this album, scales, some tremolo picking and melodic parts, Ken made a great work with the sound of the bass, you can hear some great riffs out of it, it´s great because sometimes the bass just pass unnoticed in other BM bands, the voice of Code is very mature, it gives a dark ambient to the songs, in some parts he screams and in other parts he growls, great combination, and Troy made a great work with the drums, blast beats, great breakdowns, double pedal parts, everything fit so good.
In resume, they have a great proposal, an unique and original sound, if you like symphonic black metal this is it, listen to them you won´t be disappointed.

Anthelion are a Taiwanese metal band, known for drawing out and combining the darkness and the brightness of many themes in dramatic ways. As well as having the impact of traditional heavy metal, their music unites sadly beautiful piano melodies with magnificent orchestrational elements. The current members are Code, Zeist, Troy and Siniz.

Сингл был выпущен в 2003 году в честь 100 летия Harley-Davidson. Поскольку данная запись не была согласована с рекорд-лейблом Universal Records, диск был опубликован как «сольный проект» Тилля Линдеманна и Рихарда Круспе. Однако музыканты всё равно получили выговор от своего лейбла. В результате сингл был причислен к пиратским и запрещён к массовому изданию.

Polish prog act Riverside have been around since 2003 and have released six records and several EPs. Atmospheric, dynamic and melancholic are perfect words in describing their newest release Love, Fear and the Time Machine . It's quite similar to their first album, only with a more mature sound, stronger techninal complexity and a wider range of studio techniques and instruments.
