Gillan is the first album by British rock band Gillan, released in September 1978. It was only released in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, but the album sold well in the UK as an import, aided by positive press reviews. The sleeve notes of the original release credit Liam Genocky as playing drums and percussion, while the 1993 release "Gillan – The Japanese Album" instead credits Pete Barnacle.

For Bonfire's 30th Anniversary the German Metallers present the long desired double-album 'Pearls', released via UDR-Music. The album is due for release on March 18th, the first CD of its kind since the foundation of the band in 1986. Progressive-metallers Haken are gearing up for the release of third album and InsideOut Music debut "The Mountain". The time has come for them to reveal the second track to be taken from said album, and this comes in the shape of the ten-minute long journey that is 'Pareidolia'. The band had this to say about the track: "This song is at the heavier end of the Haken spectrum. It's a bit of a culture clash too; we had fun incorporating the Hindu scale, some tribal percussion and even a Greek bouzouki into our sound. We asked Marc Papeghin to create the visuals for us after he blew us away with his epic 22 minute Visions video."

After the release of their latest, highly-acclaimed studio record called »Heroes«, Swedish heavy metal heroes SABATON hit the charts in various countries on high positions, f.e. Sweden (#1), Finland (#2), Germany (#3). Their enthusiastic fans reveled them in many sold-out venues all over the world during their following tour, which is still under way. Their concerts in Wacken and at their hometown festival in Falun were big highlights of the "Heroes" tour so far. Therefore the band decided to record these shows for an upcoming live DVD/CD package called "Heroes On Tour".

Deceptive Bends is the fifth studio album released in 1977 by rock band 10cc.
The departure of Kevin Godley and Lol Creme in 1976 to form Godley & Creme almost ended 10cc. However Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman kept the group alive as a duo (with the assistance of percussionist Paul Burgess). The cover design was provided by Hipgnosis. The name of the album came from a road sign on the southbound A24 between Leatherhead and Dorking in Surrey; the sign is no longer there.
