The Ghost was the third and full-length album released via Locomotive Music (26 March 2006). Before The Dawn was again a solo project; Tuomas had disbanded the old line-up in late 2005 and recorded all instruments on this album himself. Some session musicians of his new "live assault team" make guest appearances: The Norwegian Lars Eikind (clean vocals) and the guitarist Juho Räihä (solo on "Disappear" and "Scar") - both would become permanent band members. Because of the huge amount of new song material, Saukkonen created another album, "The Darkness" for Dawn of Solace, Lars and Juho also play on this album.

Также хотелось бы отметить местами появляющийся красивый женский вокал, который наполняет треки непревзойденной красотой и атмосферностью. Характерной особенностью данного альбома является присущая здесь атмосфера печали и страданий, которая проявляется через медленные гитарные риффы и суровый, почти думовый, вокал Томаса. Также, нельзя не отметить неплохой чистый вокал, который составляет неплохой контраст гроулу. Темп композиций варьируется от медленного к скоростному, что не дают заскучать при прослушивании сего творения.
В итоге, имеем сильную работу талантливых мастеров, не дающую повода засомневаться в их профессионализме.

During the recording sessions of this album in early 2008, the band had to cope with yet another line-up change – once again, the drum-seat would become vacant. The core crew of Before The Dawn (Tuomas, Lars, Juho) remained focused and only took some time off from studio to play at summer festivals (e.g. famous Wacken Open Air in Germany), mainly with the aid of session drummer Matti Auerkallio, later replaced by Agonizer's Atte Palokangas. In summer 2009 Atte became official band member.
The fifth studio album "Soundscape of Silence", released 31 October 2008, received once again praise and high ratings by European Metal press, e.g. German RockHard Magazine. Nicely timed with the band's 10th anniversary, Before The Dawn accompanied Amorphis on their Forging Europe Tour in autumn 2009; in 2010 they played more club and festival shows all over Europe and also visited Asia (China and Japan in May, Russia in September).

The band's sixth CD marks another milestone, as "Deathstar Rising" was released 25 February 2011, by Nuclear Blast in Europe (3 May 2011 is the release date for the USA). Once again, reviews were excellent, many magazines gave top and even maximum ratings. The album made it straight to Finnish Top 10 (#8); the song "Judgement" is listed at Gotherica's Global Gothic Charts among the "Top 20 Gothic & Alternative Songs of February 2011" (#20).

All Hell Breaks Loose is the debut studio album by hard rock band Black Star Riders, released in May 2013. Black Star Riders evolved from the touring version of Thin Lizzy, assembled by guitarist Scott Gorham after the death of Thin Lizzy's leader Phil Lynott.

Not to be confused with the well-intentioned but still incomplete career retrospective of the late '90s, this international release focused exclusively on the three albums (two studio and one live) issued during the period stated in its title. At the time, Genesis' three-man lineup was finally coming into their own as a viable commercial entity, having survived the seemingly insurmountable challenge of losing guitarist Steve Hackett and especially singer Peter Gabriel.

It’s one of life’s ironies that an artist as independent and ahead of her time as Betty Davis (Mabry) is today remembered mostly for her brief marriage to Miles Davis, and for having transformed the trumpeter in record time from Italian suited jazzer to psychedelically garbed imbiber of Bitches Brew. (Davis credited Betty with introducing him both to hip threads and the sounds of Hendrix, Sly Stone, and others.) Chump change indeed for a singer, songwriter, model/fashionista, and provocateur who was a Greenwich Village scene maker while still in her teens. She wrote “Uptown (To Harlem)” for the Chambers Brothers, and later went on to release three unheralded records of low-down ‘70s funk whose open sexual attitudes prefigured later, more commercially successful efforts by Rick James, Prince, and Madonna.
