Mobile Fidelity is proud to release Megadeth’s, most pivotal album, 1992’s Countdown to Extinction. The mixes on this MOFI release were done by band leader Dave Mustaine himself, the way the band wanted the listener to originally enjoy it.
Megadeth became one of the leading bands of the hard rock/metal genre during the mid-'80s through late 1990s. Each album the band released went at least gold, and they continually sold out arenas across America, in addition to developing a strong following overseas. By the early '90s, they had toned their music down slightly, yet that simply increased their following; all of their proper '90s albums debuted in the Top Ten.

The Paul Butterfield Blues Band is the debut album by Paul Butterfield, released in 1965 on Elektra Records, EKS 7294 in stereo, EKL 294 in mono. It peaked at #123 on the Billboard pop albums chart. In 2003, the album was ranked number 476 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, moving up to number 468 in the revised 2012 list, and also is ranked at #11 on Down Beat magazine's list of the top 50 blues albums.

East-West is the second album by The Butterfield Blues Band, released in 1966 on Elektra Records, EKS 7315 in stereo, EKL 315 in mono. It was recorded at the famed Chess Studios on 2120 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. It peaked at #65 on the Billboard pop albums chart.

On “Smoke in the Sky” Eric has put together a collection of Bluesy Hard Rock Tracks that showcases his powerful emotive vocals. He is also a great storyteller with his lyrics.
“I have never been shy about wearing my influences on my sleeve,” said Eric. “This was the vocal style I grew up listening to blasting out of every car window when I was growing up. I wanted to give that style of music some much needed attention and remembrance, while still trying to bring some new and more modern elements to the songs. Singing with gruff directness, the recent divorcé deals with relationship struggles (the somber “Tears in Vain”), as well as broader societal and moral worry (the hard-driving “Lawless Times”). He recorded the album in Indiana with executive production by T Bone Burnett, who has brought his stripped-down approach to Mellencamp’s recent albums. “I don’t trust myself, I don’t trust you,” he intones darkly. It’s a lonely old night, as he used to sing, and a raw one.

Former Skid Row singer and Broadway artist Sebastian Bach has a new album out in the stores. It's Bach's third solo studio record and it was produced by Bob Marlette, who already worked with bands like Alice Cooper and Filter earlier. The musicians who have been supporting Bach on the album are well known names like Duff McKagan (b), Devin Bronson (g) and Bobby Jarzombek (d). With John 5 and Steve Stevens the singer could also get very experienced guest guitarists on board. So, good preconditions. "Give 'em hell" became a hardrock album with quite some modern metal elements. It reminds to the Skid Row release "Subhuman race" from 1995 and the question is, if this is needed or not. The album has really good songs, but also tunes I don't like at all. For me Bach's new release became interesting half way.

Chronicle, Vol. 2 is a compilation album by Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records in November 1986 and then re-released on CD in 1991.
