Martin Lancelot Barre is an English rock musician.
Barre was the guitarist for rock band Jethro Tull, starting with the band's second album in 1969. Barre once said that he tried not to listen to other guitarists so that he would not be influenced by them. He said he never took guitar lessons so that he would not sound like other players.[1] He has also played the flute, both on-stage for Jethro Tull and in his own solo work.

Magazine is the third studio album by the hard rock band Heart. The album was certified platinum. It has an unusual history in that the first release in 1977 was an unfinished version not authorized by the group. A second authorized version of the album was re-released in 1978.

Kings of Suburbia is the fifth studio album by German band Tokio Hotel. It was released by Island Records on October 3, 2014 in Germany and October 6 worldwide. Unlike their previous work which was released in both German and English, Kings of Suburbia was only released in English.

Taken together, David Coverdale's first two post-Deep Purple solo albums, 1977's White Snake and 1978's Northwinds, are rather more subdued and, while not exactly laid-back, more in a mainstream late-'70s rock groove than you might expect from a singer who fronted both Deep Purple and Whitesnake, with pit stops for roots rock, AOR ballads, and gently funky stuff. Taken on their own terms outside of the context of Deep Purple and Whitesnake, they're mediocre listening, the product of a man uncertain about where to take his music as a solo act, without the rock-hard hard rock support of one of his steady bands.

U.K. is the self-titled debut album by the progressive rock supergroup U.K., released in 1978 through E.G. Records and Polydor Records. It features John Wetton, Eddie Jobson, Bill Bruford, and Allan Holdsworth. "In the Dead of Night" and "Mental Medication" were both edited for single release.

Night After Night is an album recorded live by the British band UK.
Recorded in early June 1979 at Nakano Sun Plaza and Seiken Kan, Tokyo, Japan, it is UK's third album and their first live album, released in September 1979 in support of the band's US tour supporting Jethro Tull (which Eddie Jobson joined after UK's split), and later headlining European tour. The title track and "As Long As You Want Me Here" do not appear on any studio release by the band. The title track was released also as a single (in a slightly edited version), with a non-LP studio track as a B-side titled "When Will You Realize?" that has yet to appear on any CD (although it was re-recorded with different lyrics on John Wetton's solo album Caught In The Crossfire in 1980). This track is said to be the one that split up UK.
