The album is due for release on March 18th, the first CD of its kind since the foundation of the band in 1986. Progressive-metallers Haken are gearing up for the release of third album and InsideOut Music debut "The Mountain". The time has come for them to reveal the second track to be taken from said album, and this comes in the shape of the ten-minute long journey that is 'Pareidolia'. The band had this to say about the track: "This song is at the heavier end of the Haken spectrum. It's a bit of a culture clash too; we had fun incorporating the Hindu scale, some tribal percussion and even a Greek bouzouki into our sound. We asked Marc Papeghin to create the visuals for us after he blew us away with his epic 22 minute Visions video."

Veteran jazz pianist Kenny Barron is to release his first album as a leader for 20 years with his trio including bassist Kiyoshi Kitagawa and drummer Johnathan Blake. Slated for release on March 4th 'Book of Intuition' will be his second for the legacy label Impulse! Kenny Barron is also part of the Gerry Gibbs Thrasher Dream Trio with the most recorded jazz bassist in history Ron Carter and drummer Gerry Gibbs. The trio has released two acclaimed albums in the last two years.
