The Open Door is the second studio album by the American rock band Evanescence. It was first released in Poland on September 25, 2006, through Wind-up Records and subsequently in more than 20 countries worldwide. The release date, which was originally intended to be in March 2006, was changed because of guitarist Terry Balsamo's stroke, the loss of the band's former manager, and Will Boyd's and Ben Moody's departure from the band. The album symbolizes a new beginning for the band, incorporating new elements into their previous musical styles, which include gothic rock, symphonic rock and pop music as well as the use of choirs on several songs. The writing process for the album took over 18 months to complete; most of the songs were written by Amy Lee and Terry Balsamo, and were produced by Dave Fortman.

Fallen is the debut studio album by the American rock band Evanescence. It was released on March 4, 2003, through Wind-up Records and Epic Records. The album was recorded in multiple recording studios, including Conway Recording Studios in Hollywood, California. Fallen is commercially the band's most successful album to date, selling more than seven million copies in the United States alone, and more than 17 million worldwide. It debuted at number 7 on the Billboard 200, selling more than 141,000 copies within its first week, eventually peaking at number 3 in June 2003. Internationally, Fallen topped the charts in more than ten countries. The album also was certified 7× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, and acquired multiple certifications worldwide.

Anywhere but Home is the first live album and video release by American rock band Evanescence, released on November 23, 2004, by Wind-up Records. It includes all four of their Fallen music videos, an hour of behind the scenes features, and a recording of a concert at Le Zénith in Paris. It also includes a previously unreleased song on the CD release, titled "Missing" (which also plays during the DVD credits); while placed at the end of the disc, the CD insert shows it as track eight however it is actually track 14 and incorrectly labeled "Whisper".

Songbird is a compilation album of songs by the American singer Eva Cassidy, released in 1998, two years after her death in 1996.
Five tracks ("Wade in the Water", "Wayfaring Stranger", "Songbird", "Time is a Healer" and "I Know You by Heart") are from Cassidy's album, Eva by Heart. Four tracks ("Fields Of Gold", "Autumn Leaves", "People Get Ready" and "Oh Had I a Golden Thread") are from her album, Live at Blues Alley. The remaining track, "Over the Rainbow", is from the album The Other Side. The compilation album was certified Gold by the CRIA (50,000 units) in 2003. It was certified Gold by the RIAA in 2001 and Platinum in 2008 for shipments in excess of one million copies.

No Boundaries is an unofficial CD release presenting recordings the late American singer Eva Cassidy. Released in 2000, it is collection of studio recordings from 1987 - 1991. The release was not endorsed by the Cassidy family, and was released under label different from that under which her other albums were released. The album contains remixes of 5 tracks from her albums, 4 un-released originals written by Taylor and a radio edit of "Emotional Step".

Following on from their previous album, Be Yourself Tonight, Revenge continued further in this direction as the duo embraced a more "rock band" style. A 1987 concert from the Australian leg of this tour was also released on home video (see Eurythmics Live).

Eurythmics were a British pop duo consisting of members Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. Stewart and Lennox were both previously in The Tourists, a band which broke up in 1980; Eurythmics were formed later that year in Wagga Wagga, Australia. The duo released their first studio album, In the Garden, in 1981 to little success, but went on to achieve global success when their second album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), was released in 1983. The title track became a worldwide hit which topped the charts in various countries including the US. The duo went on to release a string of hit singles and albums before they split up in 1990. By this time, Stewart was a sought-after record producer, while Lennox began a solo recording career in 1992 with her debut album Diva. After almost a decade apart, Eurythmics reunited to record their ninth album, Peace, released in late 1999. They reunited again in 2005 to release the single "I've Got a Life", as part of a new Eurythmics compilation album, Ultimate Collection.

Always & Forever is the debut studio album by British girl group Eternal. It was released through EMI on 29 November 1993. The album became a sales success, selling over one million copies and yielding six single releases. It is the only Eternal album to feature Louise Nurding, who left to embark on a solo career before Eternal's follow up album Power of a Woman. The album had an American release in March 1994; it reached the lower 100s on the Billboard 200 album chart.

The album has been reissued several times and has been awarded certifications in several regions. Billboard reported, the album sold more than 13,400,000 copies worldwide.

Just One Night is a 1980 double album by Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Budokan Theatre, Tokyo, Japan, December 1979 when Clapton was touring to support Backless, his latest record at that time. The sleeve contains a Japanese painting by Ken Konno. The album reached No. 2 in the U.S. and No. 3 in the UK, and was certified gold by RIAA.

461 Ocean Boulevard is a 1974 solo album by Eric Clapton that marked his return to recording after recovering from a three-year addiction to heroin. The album was released in late July 1974 for RSO Records, shortly after the record company released the hit single "I Shot the Sheriff" in early July the same year. The album topped various international charts and sold more than two million copies. It was also one of the first "pop music" albums to be released in the Soviet Union.
