The Very Best of Elton John is a greatest hits compilation album by Elton John, released in October 1990. His first career-retrospective album, and fourth official greatest-hits album overall, it was released in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe, and in other countries such as Japan and Australia, but not in the United States, where the box set To Be Continued... was released the following month instead.

Too Low for Zero (stylized as 2 ↓ 4 0), released in 1983, is the seventeenth official album release for Elton John. The album marked a comeback for John, whose previous four albums had failed to yield many enduring international hit singles, and had disappointing sales compared to his string of hit records released during the first half of the 1970s. It is his best selling album of the 1980s, earning Platinum certification by the RIAA. It produced several hit songs, each accompanied by successful MTV music videos, and it spent over a year on the Billboard album chart.

Insomniac is the eighth studio album, and fourth English-language album, released by Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias. The album was produced by John Shanks, Kristian Lundin, Sean Garrett, Anders Bagge, Jesper Andersen, Mark Taylor, Stargate, and Maratone. It also contains his first collaboration with a rapper, Lil Wayne, as well as a cover of indie band Ringside's "Tired of Being Sorry". This album is said to be different from his prior albums, incorporating a more contemporary pop style. As well as the aforementioned hip hop collaboration, the album also includes elements of R&B and Latin pop. It was released worldwide on 11 June 2007 and in the USA on 12 June 2007.

"Escape" is a song written by Kara DioGuardi, Enrique Iglesias, Steve Morales and David Siegel for Iglesias' 2001 album Escape. The song is the album's opening track, and was released as its second single in 2002 (see 2002 in music). The song reached number three in the UK and number twelve in the U.S. charts. There is a Spanish version of the song, also sung by Iglesias, titled "Escapar". The song sold 3.6 million copies in 2002.

The Marshall Mathers LP is the third studio album by American rapper Eminem. It was released on May 23, 2000, by Aftermath Entertainment, Interscope Records, and Eminem's newly founded label, Shady Records in the United States, and on September 11, 2000, by Polydor Records in the United Kingdom. The album was produced mostly by Dr. Dre and Eminem, along with The 45 King, the Bass Brothers, and Mel-Man. Released a year after Eminem's breakout album The Slim Shady LP, the record features more introspective lyricism including the rapper's response to his sudden rise to fame and controversy surrounding his lyrics.
