From Zero received generally favorable reviews from critics and was a commercial success, reaching number one in the charts of more than 10 different countries. The album was named album of the year by Revolver magazine and listed as the best rock album of 2024 by Loudwire. At the 68th Annual Grammy Awards it was nominated for Best Rock Album, while lead single "The Emptiness Machine" was nominated for Best Rock Performance.

Pipes of Peace est un album studio de Paul McCartney, le cinquième qu'il enregistre en solo, paru en 1983. Produit par George Martin, producteur des Beatles, l'album reprend ce qui a fait le succès de l'opus précédent, Tug of War. Plusieurs des chansons ont d'ailleurs été enregistrées au cours des sessions de préparation de ce dernier, à Montserrat, début 1981. Si les chansons restantes sont enregistrées en 1982, l'album est repoussé à la fin de l'année suivante, McCartney étant très occupé par un autre projet, son film Give My Regards to Broad Street.

It was first released in multiple nations on September 8, 2010, and in the United States on September 13, 2010, by Warner Bros. Records. The album was produced by Mike Shinoda and Rick Rubin, who had also worked together to produce the band's previous studio album Minutes to Midnight (2007). Recording sessions for A Thousand Suns took place at NRG Recording Studios in Hollywood, California from 2009 until mid 2010.

Pipes of Peace is the fourth solo studio album by the English singer-songwriter Paul McCartney. It was released on 31 October 1983. As the follow-up to the popular Tug of War, the album came close to matching the commercial success of its predecessor in Britain but peaked only at number 15 on America's Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. While Pipes of Peace was the source of international hit singles such as "Say Say Say" (recorded with Michael Jackson) and the title track, the critical response to the album was less favourable than that afforded to Tug of War.
