Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It was released by Harvest on 2 October 1970 in the UK, and by Capitol on 10 October 1970 in the US. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, England, and was the band's first album to reach number 1 in the UK, while it reached number 55 in the US, eventually going gold there. A remastered CD was released in 1994 in the UK and the United States, and again in 2011. Ron Geesin, who had already influenced and collaborated with Roger Waters, contributed to the title track and received a then-rare outside songwriting credit.

Animals is the tenth studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd. It was first released on 23 January 1977 by Harvest Records in the United Kingdom and by Columbia Records in the United States. It is a concept album that provides a scathing critique of the social-political conditions of late 1970s Britain, and presents a marked change in musical style from their earlier work. Animals was recorded at the band's Britannia Row Studios in London, but its production was punctuated by the early signs of discord that, three years later, would culminate in keyboardist Richard Wright leaving the band. The album's cover image, a pig floating between two chimneys of the Battersea Power Station, was conceived by the band's bassist and lead songwriter Roger Waters, and was designed by long-time collaborator Storm Thorgerson.

Momentary Lapse of Reason is the thirteenth studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. It was released in the UK and US on 7 September 1987 by EMI and Columbia. It was the first Pink Floyd album since the departure of bass guitarist, singer, and songwriter Roger Waters in 1985.
Unlike many Pink Floyd albums, A Momentary Lapse of Reason is not a concept album and is instead a collection of songs written by guitarist David Gilmour, sometimes with outside songwriters. It followed Gilmour's decision to include material recorded for his third solo album on a new Pink Floyd album with drummer Nick Mason and keyboardist Richard Wright.

Can't Take Me Home is the debut album by singer P!nk, released in the United States on April 4, 2000 by LaFace Records. It produced three singles - "There You Go", "Most Girls", and "You Make Me Sick", and peaked at number twenty-six on the U.S. Billboard 200. Producers included Kevin "She'kspere" Briggs, Babyface, Kandi Burruss, Terence "Tramp Baby" Abney, Daryl Simmons, and Tricky. Pink shared co-writing credit on seven of the album's tracks. This album featured a contemporary R&B sound; Pink went for a more pop-rock oriented sound on her follow-up albums. She later went on to admit that during the period of promoting this album she felt stifled, as it was not reflective of her true musical ambitions.

Serious Hits... Live! is the name of Phil Collins' 1990 live album with a CD as well as the DVD video recording of that concert. The songs on the CD version are taken from various concerts during the Serious Hits! tour, though it sounds as if the CD was recorded over one entire concert. It was recorded during the Seriously, Live! World Tour. At the Brit Awards in 1992, the album brought Collins a nomination for British Male Artist.

Very is the fifth studio album by English electronic duo Pet Shop Boys. It was released in September 1993, after nearly two and a half years from the duo's previous studio album, Behaviour, and the compilation album Discography: The Complete Singles Collection.

Please is the first album by English electronic music group Pet Shop Boys, released in 1986. According to the duo, the album's title was chosen so that people had to go into a record shop and say "Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, 'Please'?". The album has sold around 3 million copies worldwide to date.

It was an attempt to showcase their recent remixes and possibly recreate some of the critical success of the earlier remix collection Disco, however Disco 2 is one of the Pet Shop Boys' most poorly received albums by critics and fans. The tracks on the CD were mixed into one long continuous megamix by DJ Danny Rampling. As a result, most of the tracks are in edited versions, having been cut off mid-way through in a crossfade into the following tracks (as a DJ might do while mixing music live). Some of the tracks were reduced by more than half of their original lengths in this way. In addition, some tracks were sped up or slowed down, in order to match the overall tempo of the mix.

При этом альбом можно условно разделить на две части: "Breathe (Until We Are No More)", "Extinct", "Medusalem", "Domina" - это явно новые музыкальные стандарты для Moonspell, наиболее полновесные, яркие, пышущие жизнью композиции. Среди них нет новой "Full Moon Madness", не говоря уж о "A Werewolf Masquerade" - не сотворить их без того пыла неофитов культа Луны. Но для умудренных жизнью мужей (уж простите за расхожий штамп) - это практически эталон романтического, мистического произведения. Еще шесть представленных композиций - уже других достоинств, со все более простыми сюжетами, более прозрачными мелодиями, более грустными (и мудрыми!) текстами и все менее весомой ритм-секцией. Эта часть не то чтобы хуже - она просто другая; не из тех,что будут бодро звучать на концертных таинствах, но вполне подходящая для домашних ритуалов.

Альбом пролетает очень быстро, и слушается, соотвественно, что называется, «на одном дыхании». Хэдбэнгерский трэш все еще дает о себе знать как пережиток, при этом избыточный задор часто сменяется размеренной музыкой с гимновым оттенком. В целом ставка сделана именно на эмоциональную долбежку Сэндовала, а также бластбитовый наполнитель, а гитары очень зависимы от ритм-секции. Однако для дебютного альбома все уже очень даже сложно и нетривиально. Это относится и к сольным гитарным попыткам гитарного дуэта Азагтот-Брюннель, которые демонстрируют нам, что кошмарные видения можно с успехом облечь в музыку.

“All Dead Here…” увидел свет. Результат оказался несколько неожиданный, и для многих не самый приятный – скрипка Maestro Pete Johansen в музыке Morgul стала играть не столь важную роль, как это было раньше, а все время, в основном, отведено под рваные дэт блэковые риффы с неизменными клавишными партиями.

Этот альбом занимает особое место в дискографии голландцев, ведь именно на нем группа, до этого творившая на ниве дум-металла и его производных, выразила резкий дрейф в сторону атмосферных трип-хоповых звуковых ландшафтов, пространство которых никак нельзя назвать смежным с тяжелой музыкой. Весьма любопытен тот факт, что этот релиз с его предшественником разделяет всего год, за который The Gathering умудрились совершить своеобразный "поворот на 360 градусов", коренным образом поменяв стилистику, но при этом никакой «переходности» на "How to Measure a Planet?" не чувствуется. Напротив, саунд альбома представляется не только очень свежим и стопроцентно самобытным по отношению к предыдущим работам, но также зрелым и продуманным, словно группа шла к нему на протяжении всего своего существования.

Потрясающий альбом!!! Запоминается, прежде всего, уникальностью той атмосферы, которую навевает музыкальная составляющая альбома. Тексты не самые плохие среди блэкарей, которых теперь развелось пруд-пруди. Не могу согласиться с теми, кто утверждают, будто с этим альбомом Satyricon стал хуже... Нет и ещё раз нет! Это постблэк... Это просто другой уровень, уровень выше... А бегать с факелами по простором Севера не надоело ли? Оставим это началу девяностых, а то как-то сейчас уже нелепо смотрится.
