Отличная работа. Хотя с первого взгляда - обычный, "рядовой" альбом хорошей дэтовой команды. Одно "но"... Здесь была найдена магическая середина: не слишком быстро, не слишком злобно, в меру мелодично, с красивыми соло. Местами проступает атмосферность. Особенно запоминается концовка альбома: великолепная одноимённая "Sworn Vengeance" и небольшой добротный инструментал "Submerged in Grief". Также радует слух "Dismal Perception" - бодрое начало альбома. Безусловно, стоит отметить хорошее качество записи (альбом 2010 года "Slaughtered" в этом плане понравился меньше). Лучший, на мой взгляд, альбом от Severe Torture.

Полагаю, именитые нью-йоркские хардкорщики Sick Of It All знакомы очень многим. Я имею в виду металлистов, ибо для фанатов стиля эта группа аки икона. Так вот, нашему вниманию представлен очень и очень замечательный сборник каверов этой группы. Причем не просто замечательный – великолепный! Мало того, что композиции подобраны очень неплохие, так еще и какие имена тут представлены: и металкорщики Unearth, Hatebreed, Walls Of Jericho, и хардкорщики Madball, Comeback Kid, Ignite, Stretch Arm Strong, Bane, и даже Sepultura и Napalm Death.

Это американский проект, с морбид-энджеловской ритм-секцией, и двумя гитаристами, сразу после релиза оказавшихся в Напалм Дэс. Альбом хороший, добротный, ровный, ничего мозголомного как у английских образцов для подражания, у террористов не было. Критики отмечали техничность музыкантов, но тем не менее, альбом оказался единственным. Morbid Angel в свое время исполняли на концертах их песни.

Это сейчас мы все наслушались такого что и вообразить то трудно, но вот тогда «Истории Из Сумеречного Мира» были каким-то волшебным полотном, поражающим своим эпическим содержанием, и я с этим полностью согласен. В особенности удивляла каждая композиция, в которой можно было встретить, кроме резких ритмических сбивок и техничного спид металла, несколько разных мелодий сменяющихся одна другой в пределах одного трека. Хоры, которые приобрели величественный и оперный оттенок, радуют своим присутствием, как в самых главных припевах, так и отчасти в куплетах.

Toni Braxton received generally mixed to positive reviews from music critics.
