Ten Thousand Lightyears is the seventh studio album by Boney M. and the first to feature new member Reggie Tsiboe, who had taken over Bobby Farrell's role as the band's leading man in early 1982.

Oceans of Fantasy is the fourth studio album by Boney M. Released in September 1979, Oceans Of Fantasy became the second Boney M. album to top the UK charts and features hits El Lute / Gotta Go Home and I'm Born Again / Bahama Mama.
The album had been preceded in the spring of 1979 by the single "Hooray! Hooray! It's a Holi-Holiday" (based on American folksong Polly Wolly Doodle), one of the band's biggest hits. This was not included on Oceans of Fantasy but the B-side, "Ribbons of Blue" was, albeit in a heavily edited form. The original length of the track is 4:02 and songs like "Gotta Go Home" and "Bahama Mama" were also longer on 7" than on the actual album. As with the group's previous album, Nightflight to Venus, the original Hansa Records pressings of the album also included a range of different edits of certain tracks.

Love for Sale is the second album by Boney M. The album includes the hits "Ma Baker" (#96 on the Billboard Hot 100, #31 on the Club Play Singles chart), and "Belfast". It also includes covers: "Love for Sale" (by Cole Porter), "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" (by Creedence Clearwater Revival), and "Still I'm Sad" (by The Yardbirds). It has been released in vinyl and then CD.

Boney M were put together by songwriter, producer and svengali Frank Farian as a 'front' for his own musical output. Although the three female members of Boney M appeared on the band's recordings, Farian supplied the male voice while DJ and dancer Bobby Farrell provided the face. It is a very nice collection providing a good review of Boney M music. It does miss a few really important hits that you can find in a 2-disk collection, yet, with only 3 CDs doesn't have all songs from their gold time. So, it is a rather extension of your collection than the only Boney M set you would like to have.

I just love boney M, this is a great 3 cd collection...I am so happy with it!!! it reminds me of my childhood. My mom always listened to Boney M and i use to dance like crazy and i still do!!! It is uplifting music and fun to dance too!!! I have a favorite song from Boney M that is super hard to find and i finally found it on this Awesome cg collection...

Nightflight to Venus is the third album by the band Boney M, and was released in July 1978. The album became a major success in continental Europe, Scandinavia, and Canada, topping most of the album charts during the second half of 1978 and also became their first UK number one album. Nightflight to Venus includes their worldwide hits "Rivers of Babylon" and "Brown Girl in the Ring", a double A-sided single that topped the UK singles chart and has sold over 2 million copies there.

Take the Heat Off Me is the debut album by Euro-Caribbean group Boney M. The album became a major seller in Europe, specifically in the Nordic countries (number 1 in Sweden and Finland, number 2 in Norway), but in the USA the album just missed the album chart. Tracks include the hits "Daddy Cool" (number 1 in eight European countries, number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 11 on the U.S. Club Play Singles chart), "Sunny" (top 5 in many European countries) and the debut single "Baby Do You Wanna Bump".

Despite producer Frank Farian having announced by the end of 1979 that Boney M. were to take a break, recording sessions for a new album began in the spring of 1980, and the title "Boonoonoonoos" (a Caribbean word for "Happiness") already appeared as one of the first completed tracks, a cover of Larry Dillon's ska-title "Train to Skaville", which was intertwined with new rap parts as "That's Boonoonoonoos". Two of the new recordings, "I See A Boat On The River" and "My Friend Jack" were issued to promote The Magic of Boney M. - 20 Golden Hits in May 1980.
