The debut album by the German hard rock band Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock. Curiously, Schenker's tour for the record featured a setlist with very few tracks from the album, the setlists being primarily composed of old UFO material, as well as some older solo band material and Scorpions songs.

Solo album released in 2000 by guitar virtuoso Michael Schenker. Schenker himself talks about this album on his website: "This album came about in 2000 when I had the urge to record an album playing all instruments. I thought of it as a fun thing to do and decided to disguise myself as different musicians, inventing characters. It was quite an experience, engineering, producing and recording all instruments by myself in my own studio. Even my brother Rudolf did not recognized me as 'Kathy the drummer' and asked, who is this nice looking chick? Amazingly, this album became a favourite to many of my fans".

The Plot is Michael Schenker (the German guitarist from UFO) and Pete Way (the British bassist from UFO, and also features the talents of former Badlands drummer Jeff Martin. It’s pure rock n’roll and heavy rockin mayhem, simple as that. Schenker dishes out his trademark, UFO-style solos on the release when vocalist Way steps back for the break. This album, recorded while the Michael Schenker Studio in Scottsdale, Arizona was still going strong and during the down time of UFO activities, has much more in common with the first couple of Waysted albums than either UFO or MSG.

26 января на лейбле Shrapnel Records вышел новый сборник от Michaelа Schenkerа (MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, UFO, SCORPIONS). В диск вошли лучшие инструментальные композиции, которые входили в многочисленные релизы на этом лейбле знаменитого музыканта.

Billed as an "instrumental acoustic album," this disc certainly shows that there is more to Michael Schenker than just a metal guitar god. Much of the music presented here has a neo-classical texture, but the man does find opportunities to rock out. Latin textures show up on occasion as well. Every sound on the album is created by Schenker and his acoustic guitars, totally unaccompanied. A true credit to his skills as a guitarist and composer, the album never feels repetitive or boring. Not many guitarists attempting this type of project have pulled off such a feat. This should appeal to Schenker's UFO/Scorpions/MSG fans while still bringing in listeners who enjoy mellow acoustic guitar stylings. In fact, if he's not careful, Schenker may find himself bringing in some fans of classical guitar.
