Schiller is a German electronic music band. It was formed in 1998 and is named after the German poet and dramatist Friedrich Schiller. Originally, it was a duo consisting of Christopher von Deylen (German: [ˈdaɪlən]) and Mirko von Schlieffen. Around 2001 or 2002, von Schlieffen left the band, leaving von Deylen the solo member.

Раніше німецький проект «SCHILLER» складався з добре відомого композитора та продюсера танцювальної сцени Крістофера фон Дейлена (Christopher von Deylen) та Мірко фон Шліффена (Mirko von Schlieffen). Коли через розбіжності проект залишив Мірко, Крістофер став керувати всім сам. Як завжди сам фон Дайлен не співає, натомість він заохочує виконавців з Німеччини та з других країн світу. A new studio album was originally scheduled for autumn 2018. The album was produced between 2017 and 2018. On 3 September 2018, Schiller announced officially the release of a new album and the rescheduling of the release date to spring 2019. The name of the album "Morgenstund" and its cover artwork were announced and revealed on 14 September 2018 on Facebook and YouTube. Von Deylen described the production of the album with the words: "Ich freue mich sehr auf "Morgenstund". Selten hat mir die Arbeit an einem neuen Werk soviel Freude gemacht". (Translation: I'm really looking forward to "Morgenstund". Rarely, working on a new work has given me so much pleasure.)

Euphoria sees Schiller lean hard into the trance side of electronic music. This record is razor-sharp with strange song structures and haunting vocal performances. It has its fair share of slightly cheesy voiceovers and 2000’s callbacks, but I kinda love that about it. It’s over an hour long with sixteen tracks, and it is both thrilling, suspenseful, and introspective in turn.

It became a surprise hit, staying on the top position of the German longplay charts for four consecutive weeks. The album featured Kim Sanders and Peter Heppner as guest singers, with voice actors Otto Sander, Benjamin Völz and Franziska Pigulla adding spoken words passages.
