Il contient 19 chansons tirées du coffret With the Lights Out de 2004 ainsi que trois enregistrements inédits : une version de Spank Thru tirée d'une Démo de Fecal Matter de 1985, une version studio de Sappy datant de 1990 et un enregistrement sur radio-cassette de Come as You Are. La version de Spank Thru présente sur la compilation a une signification importante pour le groupe, puisqu'il semble que ce soit cet enregistrement qui a convaincu le bassiste Krist Novoselic de former un groupe avec Cobain.

MTV Unplugged in New York is a live album by American rock band Nirvana, released on November 1, 1994, by DGC Records. It features an acoustic performance recorded at Sony Music Studios in New York City on November 18, 1993, for the television series MTV Unplugged.
The show was directed by Beth McCarthy and aired on the cable television network MTV on December 16, 1993. In a break with MTV Unplugged tradition, Nirvana played mainly lesser-known material and covers of songs by the Vaselines, David Bowie, Lead Belly and Meat Puppets. Unlike prior MTV Unplugged performances, which were entirely acoustic, Nirvana used electric amplification and guitar effects during the set. They were joined by rhythm guitarist Pat Smear and cellist Lori Goldston, plus members of Meat Puppets for some songs.

Recorded and produced by Tom Dowd at the Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas with Albert Lee, it was Clapton's last album for RSO Records. It received moderate reviews and achieved modest commercial success peaking at 18 in the UK charts.

No Quarter is a live album by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, both formerly of English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released by Atlantic Records on 14 October 1994. The long-awaited reunion between Jimmy Page and Robert Plant occurred on a 90-minute "UnLedded" MTV project, recorded in Morocco, Wales, and London. It was not a reunion of Led Zeppelin, however, as former bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones was not present. In fact, Jones was not even told about the reunion by his former bandmates. He later commented that he was unhappy about Plant and Page naming the album after "No Quarter", a Led Zeppelin song which was largely his work.

Walking into Clarksdale is the only studio album by Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, both formerly of English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released by Atlantic Records on 21 April 1998. Walking into Clarksdale took 35 days to record. The album was recorded and mixed by Steve Albini over a five-month period at Abbey Road Studios. The single "Most High" was awarded a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 1999.
Clarksdale is a town in the Mississippi Delta, a historical home of Delta blues music.

Odyssey is the fourth studio album by guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen, released on 8 April 1988 through Polydor Records. The album reached No. 40 on the US Billboard 200 and remained on that chart for eighteen weeks, as well as reaching the top 50 in five other countries. As of 2019 it remains Malmsteen's highest-charting release on the Billboard 200.
