Black Radio III is an album by American musician Robert Glasper. It was released on February 25, 2022, via Loma Vista Recordings, serving as the sequel to his 2013's Black Radio 2. Production was handled by Glasper himself with co-producers Terrace Martin, Bryan-Michael Cox and Jahi Sundance. It features guest appearances from Amir Sulaiman, Ant Clemons, Big K.R.I.T., BJ the Chicago Kid, Common, D Smoke, Esperanza Spalding, Gregory Porter, H.E.R., India.Arie, Jennifer Hudson, Killer Mike, Lalah Hathaway, Ledisi, Meshell Ndegeocello, Musiq Soulchild, PJ Morton, Posdnuos, Q-Tip, Tiffany Gouché, Ty Dolla $ign and Yebba.

Paul Louis Hardcastle - is a British composer, musician, producer, songwriter, radio presenter and multi-instrumentalist. He is best known for his song "19", which went to number 1 in the UK Singles Chart in 1985.

The Great Summit: The Master Takes is a 2001 Blue Note album by Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. It's a reissue of the two Roulette albums Together For The First Time (track 1–10) and The Great Reunion (track 11–17) from 1961. (These two albums have later resurfaced as a Roulette double-LP entitled The Duke Ellington/Louis Armstrong Years and in 1990 as a remastered CD called Together for the First Time/The Great Reunion.)
The contents of this album is an all-Ellington program performed by himself and Louis Armstrong & His All-Stars. These 17 selections are the entire result of the only studio meeting by Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. They both lead a small band - Louis Armstrong's All Stars - and play classic compositions by Ellington such as "Mood Indigo" and "Black And Tan Fantasy".

Also in 1955, B.B. King recorded "Every Day I Have the Blues". King attributed the song's appeal to arranger Maxwell Davis: "He [Davis] wrote a chart of 'Every Day I Have the Blues' with a crisp and relaxed sound I'd never heard before. I liked it so well, I made it my theme ... ... The induction statement includes: "Everyday I Have the Blues" is one of the most ubiquitous of all blues songs, a required number in the repertoires of the countless bar and lounge bands of many genres. Its late entry into the Blues Hall of Fame reflects the fact that no strong consensus emerged as to which of the hundreds of recorded versions was most deserving. But it often is associated with B.B. King, and so the first of his own many versions gets the honors.

Impressions is the tenth studio album by American jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, which was released on April 17, 2012 through Columbia Records. The album debuted and peaked No. 1 on the Billboard Jazz Album chart. On February 10, 2013, the album received the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Album.

This very special sampler is a celebration of the TRUE STEREO process for recording Naim has used for the majority of their releases over the last ten years. “True Stereo” is one of the most faithful techniques that exists to capture music in a recorded format. The final sound results from recoding with just a single pair of microphones set up in a space with good natural acoustics. The end result offers the listener a ‘live’, acoustically realistic perspective on the music without processing or electronic manipulation of any kind. Because the sound is recorded direct to stereo, there is no opportunity for mixing or manipulating it after the recording has been made.
The positioning of the microphones is critical for this kind of recording: microphone placement represents the only opportunity that our engineer, Ken Christianson, has to adjust the levels. For example, more or less bass is achieved by positioning the bassist closer to or further from the microphones.
Ken’s techniques – developed over a period of many years – are illustrated in the booklet which accompanies the True Stereo Sampler. There are diagrams showing the placement of instruments and microphones, and details on the specific sound characteristics of the room that was used for the recording.

Universal's double-disc Icon doubles the size of their single-disc set of the same name and covers the same ground only in greater detail, adding a few more live tracks and studio staples to draw a greater picture of his ABC and MCA recordings of the late ‘60s, ‘70s, and beyond. It’s a bit shorter than 2006’s Gold and not quite as rounded, yet it’s still a very good sampler of B.B. King at his latter-day best.

Absinthe is the final recording from the band Naked City. Unlike the band's other genre-mixing releases, the music on Absinthe is consistently in an ambient and noise style. The titles of many of its tracks refer to the works of Paul Verlaine, Charles Baudelaire and other figures in the fin de siècle Decadent movement, and to the drink after which the album is named. The album's cover and liner notes feature photographs by the German Surrealist Hans Bellmer.
