Genius Loves Company is the sixty-second and final studio album by rhythm and blues and soul musician Ray Charles, posthumously released August 31, 2004, on Concord Records. Recording sessions for the album took place between June 2003 and March 2004. The album consists of rhythm and blues, soul, country, blues, jazz and pop standards performed by Charles and several guest musicians, such as Natalie Cole, Elton John, James Taylor, Norah Jones, B. B. King, Gladys Knight, Diana Krall, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson and Bonnie Raitt. Genius Loves Company was the last album recorded and completed by Charles before his death in June 2004.

Soultrane is a studio album by the jazz musician John Coltrane. It was released in 1958 through Prestige Records, with catalogue no. 7142. It was recorded at the studio of Rudy Van Gelder in Hackensack, New Jersey, three days after a Columbia Records session for Miles Davis and the Milestones album.

One of the greatest and most underated jazz singers, Lee Wiley is presented on this CD as an older, more mature singer. Perhaps there is not the same verve or timbre in her voice, but her great timing and feel for the song is evident. Track 3 and track 19 are worth the price of this CD, alone. On the first, she sings a song that should be a classic melody: "You're Lucky To Me". But this version is a slower pace than she usually sang, such as with Eddie Condon's groups at the Town Hall Jazz Concerts in 1944. It has a memorable flavor. On track 19, which is one of the unique cuts on this CD which leave in re-takes and comments on some recordings, and Lee, who had been very ill and passed away a few years later, can be heard saying that she didn't like singing it because it depressed her. This is not only good music, it is history. There have been many imitators of Lee, but none did it quite like she did.

Concierto is an album by the Jim Hall sextet, featuring Paul Desmond, Chet Baker, Ron Carter, Steve Gadd and Roland Hanna. It was produced by Creed Taylor for his CTI Records label and recorded at Van Gelder Studio in New Jersey on April 16 and 23, 1975. Concierto is named after the featured 19-minute jazz version of the classical piece for guitar, Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo.

Where Are You? is the thirteenth studio album by Frank Sinatra. It is the first album Sinatra recorded at Capitol without Nelson Riddle, as well as the first he recorded in stereo. In 1970 it was re-issued as a ten track album under the name The Night We Called It a Day.

Six of the tracks on the album are re-recordings of a batch of songs that Sinatra had previously recorded on the Columbia album, Sing and Dance with Frank Sinatra.

No One Cares is the seventeenth studio album by Frank Sinatra, released on July 20, 1959. It is generally considered a sequel to Sinatra's 1957 album Where Are You? (also arranged by Gordon Jenkins), and shares a similar sad and lonesome, gloomy theme and concept as In the Wee Small Hours and Only the Lonely (both arranged by Nelson Riddle).
