The album peaked at number 33 on the Billboard 200 and at number 7 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Its lead single, "Sweet Baby", made it to number 19 on the Hot 100 singles chart. In 1982, the album was nominated for Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals at 24th Annual Grammy Awards.
