The Vintage Caravan is a band of 3 young fellas from Reykjavik, Iceland. Yep, the country that gave us really unique musicians and bands like BJÖRK and SIGUR RÓSS. It’s fun juggling with the thought that a distant island with a population of less than 400,000 citizens keeps creating music that seems revolutionary to the ears of so many people all over the world. The Vintage Caravan are no different. Though addressing an old retro kind of genre such as hard classic rock, they still manage to sound different; it’s easy to find their distinct and unique voice rising when listening to their new album “Voyage”.

После боевого релиза "Versus" для многих фэнов свеженький "Unseen" может показаться внезапным ударом под дых. В миксе из трэша и мелодик-дэта, коим так славились The Haunted, оголтелая слейеровская сердцевина медленно, но верно отодвигалась на задний план, уступая место мелодизму. В итог доотодвигались: ни о какой трэшевой составляющей, по крайней мере, в прежнем ее понимании, ныне говорить не приходится. "Unseen" представляет из себя сплав модерновых мелодик-дэтовых фишек и грувовых дел в духе Pantera с облагороженным вокалом Петера Дольвинга, окончательно утратившим свою дикость... И все, в принципе хорошо и эффектно получилось – местами тягуче, местами проникновенно и эмоционально, очень интеллигентно и качественно, и, естественно, уже без какой бы то ни было оголтелости или брутальности. Правда, стоит признать, что порой несколько занудно. Большая часть материала, не смотря на действительно хорошие мелодии, не ложится на ухо и не запоминается с той легкостью, с какой это происходило с ранним материалом.

The Killer Instinct is the second studio album by hard rock band Black Star Riders, released on February 20, 2015. Black Star Riders evolved from the touring version of Thin Lizzy, assembled by guitarist Scott Gorham after the death of Thin Lizzy's leader Phil Lynott. The band's first album, All Hell Breaks Loose, was released in 2013.
