Streetlife Serenade is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Billy Joel (his second with Columbia Records), released on October 11, 1974.
Joel's follow-up effort to 1973's Piano Man, Streetlife Serenade did not enjoy the relative success of its predecessor; it marked the beginning of his frosty relationship with critics and the music industry more generally.

Van Morrison and the guests selected and recorded some of his songs from the catalog of 360 songs across his career. City of Heroes is the second studio album by the melodic rock / heavy metal duet project Kiske/Somerville. The album features the collaboration between vocalist Michael Kiske (ex-Helloween, Unisonic, Place Vendome) and American singer Amanda Somerville (Aina, HDK, Trillium). It was released on 17 April 2015 in Europe and on 21 April 2015 in North America.

Simply Red release their first new studio album in eight years with Big Love out June 1st on East West Records. When the band announced a massive world tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary last autumn, main man Mick Hucknall started thinking about recording again. “Once I began wondering how Simply Red were going to sound, I started writing songs,” says Mick. Into the Fire is the fifth studio album by the Canadian rock artist Bryan Adams. Released on March 30, 1987 through A&M Records, the album was a commercial success, albeit somewhat of a disappointment following the huge success of 1984's Reckless. Into the Fire sold over 2 million units worldwide, peaking at number 7 on the US Billboard 200 chart and reaching high positions in charts worldwide. The album was recorded at Adams' home in Vancouver, Canada.

Lanu is the brainchild of restless Melbourne musician Lance Ferguson, who is best known as the leader of soul pop champions The Bamboos (full disclosure: Lance is also an announcer on Double J). His previous work as Lanu has seen him make some slick soulful pop music, but this album has been specifically influenced by the idyllic perception outsiders have of the South Seas and the exotica music inspired by that part of the world.

Эффектно начав в восьмидесятые, благополучно пережив непростые девяностые, уверенно отмахавшись от нулевых, группа принялась развеивать очередное суеверие, встретившееся на длинном и извилистом пути. А именно – выпускать тринадцатый альбом.
В принципе, достаточно только первой композиции «Mother Of All Lies», чтобы заинтересованно поднять голову и сосредоточенно начать внимать. Конечно, это те самые "Прэтти Мэйдс", которые нам знакомы уже не первое столетие, но одновременно и не совсем как бы они. Повеяло переменами… Очень сильная вещь, с великолепным припевом, традиционно плавно вырастающем из куплета. Следующая, «To Fool A Nation», словно была заготовлена группой для кратковременного отступления – кинули пробный шар, и теперь внимательно наблюдают за реакцией слушателей – пойдет, или нет? И, только оставшись удовлетворенными результатом, запускают остальной альбом, начав с парной «Confession/The Iceman». Собственно, это одна песня, состоящая из двух частей, где первая лишь призвана подготовить почву для второй. С чем она с успехом и справляется, умело нагнетая обстановку.
