Origin is the first demo album by the alternative metal band Evanescence. It was released in 2000 on Bigwig Enterprises. Only 2,500 album copies were pressed and sold at the band's live concerts in Little Rock, Arkansas, and on the Bigwig Enterprises website.

This music, and this journey, was truly an immersive experience for those who hit the ‘hippie trail’. Sunlight refracted through a cracked windscreen and roiling clouds of fragrant smoke brought sudden moments of transcendental clarity and focus. The hum of the engine accompanied the largely unjustifiable belief that the road being followed would lead to where the occupants of the 'Magic Bus’ truly wanted to be. But it didn’t matter; the journey is, after all, the destination and this is a trip about far more than sightseeing. As Timothy Leary put it so succinctly, “Turn on, tune in, drop out”. Man…

The band switched labels to Titan Music and Entertainment for their next project and recorded 10 new tracks for their new album High Priestess with super producer Johnny K, a Grammy Award nominated producer/engineer/mixer/musician and songwriter at Groovemaster Recording Studios in Chicago. Charlie Parra del Riego joined as special guest guitarist for the recording. High Priestess entered the CMJ Loud Rock Radio charts in the USA at #4, it was released globally on June 24, 2014 to strong reviews worledwide. The band toured the new album in North America with KISS and Def Leppard in the summer of 2014.

Slauter Xstroyes is a progressive power metal band from Chicago, USA. The band was founded in 1981 when guitarist Paul Kratky (who, at that time, was intentioned to put together a band called Naj) met bassist Brent Sullivan and vocalist John Stewart. Drummer Dave Bonow joined the band, and Slauter Xstroyes released their first album, "Winter Kill", in 1985. The album was considered a masterpiece of prog/power metal from start to finish, but few knew that it would end up being the collector piece it is today. In fact, only 500 copies were released in the area around Chicago. It was around 1987-88 that the band headed into the studio to record their second album “Free the Beast", which was never completed nor released. The band kept on playing in the area near Chicago, and in 1999 "Free The Beast" was finally released. At the moment, the band is working on a new album without the original singer Jonathan Stewart.

Epitaph's best album (actually, many would argue it's their only good album), 1974's Outside the Law, was produced during the German-based, English-fronted quartet's brief sojourn in America, while benefiting from the patronage of tiny independent label Billingsgate Records. Having just lost their deal with mighty Polydor following two nondescript LPs filled with progressive excess, the bandmembers now seemed motivated to edit themselves, and emerged from Chicago's Omega Studios with a far more focused and engaging set of songs, marked by fluid, mid-paced grooves, radio-friendly choruses, and dual-guitar harmonies often backed by acoustic rhythm guitars for added sweetening.

Troll was a Swedish pop group started by 7 girls from the city Falun. Their first hit "Jimmy Dean" became a huge hit in 1989-1990 in Sweden where it topped almost every chart.

Dune is an original soundtrack album for the 1984 film Dune. Most of the album was composed by the popular rock band Toto — their first and only film score — but one track was contributed by Brian Eno.
