Увидев, как идут дела у группы, специалисты лейбла «Pasha Records» сообразили, что надо пользоваться моментом, загнали музыкантов в студию и потребовали продолжения «Metal Health». Вышедший в июле 1984 года альбом «Condition Critical» вполне мог бы называться «Metal Health Part 2». Сделанный по тому же рецепту, что и предшествующий лонгплей, этот диск также включал в себя кавер от «Slade» (на этот раз «Mama Weer All Crazee Now»). Несмотря на то, что продажи «Condition Critical» были достаточно высоки (было продано около 3 млн. копий), многие были недовольны однотипностью группы, и «Quiet Riot» растеряли часть аудитории. Первым почувствовал неладное Сарзо, который покинул группу в январе 1985 года, уступив место Чаку Райту.

Дебютный альбом финской фьюнерал-дум-команды был услышан мною ещё тогда, в 2000, и просто сразил меня наповал. Именно такую музыку я искал, именно такого настроения и такого минимализма. Альбом состоит из 5 ровных, плавных, монотонных композиций, которые не сильно отличимы на первый "взгляд". Минималистичность здесь доведена до особо высокого уровня, гитары выполняют преимущественно роль фонового аккомпанемента, жужжа медлительным блэковым чёсом, клавишная атмосфера ненавязчива и однообразна, местами появляется флейта и женский вокал, который, не произнося ни слова, лишь тянет своё печальное "ааа". Основной вокал - интересный, довольно заметно примоченный гроулинг, создающий впечатление замедленного (вполне вероятно, что так и делалось), и местами примоченное зловещее чистоголосое вещание.

Дождались! После почти четырехгодичного перерыва КД наконец выпустил это почти часовое произведение искусства. Материал этого альбома настолько хорош, что, пожалуй, со времен "The Eye" (1990) ничего подобного не было (переплюнута даже "Колыбель Паука" - 1995). Сам Кинг порадовал тем, что даже в возрасте может немного продемонстрировать высокотональность своего голоса. Ля Рок, наконец, вернулся к своему уровню исполнения, чего не наблюдалось на двух предшественниках. Клавишных маловато, но это несомненный плюс, так как переднеплановый саунд гитар без каких-либо недостатков тяжести и так создает прекрасную ауру. Проходных песен НЕТ, так как по каждой отдельно взятой можно снять фильм ужасов, где она же послужит главным саундтреком. Так что не надо торопиться хоронить главного земного могильщика Даймонда, он еще всем покажет!

Following on from their previous album, Be Yourself Tonight, Revenge continued further in this direction as the duo embraced a more "rock band" style. The album includes several hit singles and was a commercial success. Its release was followed by an extensive world tour. A 1987 concert from the Australian leg of this tour was also released on home video (see Eurythmics Live).

Eurythmics were a British pop duo consisting of members Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. Stewart and Lennox were both previously in The Tourists, a band which broke up in 1980; Eurythmics were formed later that year in Wagga Wagga, Australia. The duo released their first studio album, In the Garden, in 1981 to little success, but went on to achieve global success when their second album Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This), was released in 1983. The title track became a worldwide hit which topped the charts in various countries including the US. The duo went on to release a string of hit singles and albums before they split up in 1990. By this time, Stewart was a sought-after record producer, while Lennox began a solo recording career in 1992 with her debut album Diva. After almost a decade apart, Eurythmics reunited to record their ninth album, Peace, released in late 1999. They reunited again in 2005 to release the single "I've Got a Life", as part of a new Eurythmics compilation album, Ultimate Collection.

461 Ocean Boulevard is a 1974 solo album by Eric Clapton that marked his return to recording after recovering from a three-year addiction to heroin. The album was released in late July 1974 for RSO Records, shortly after the record company released the hit single "I Shot the Sheriff" in early July the same year. My Secret Life is an album by Eric Burdon released in 2004. It was his first solo album release, which contains new titles, in nearly 16 years. It was his comeback album.
It features many different musical directions such as jazz, blues, soul, rock, ska, rhythm and blues, folk, boogie, world and pop. Burdon said in an interview that every song is different. The album peaked No. 93 on the German album chart after it sold 20,000 copies in the UK. The lyrics contain a tribute to Luiz Calanca, famous brazilian vinyl collector and owner of the record store Baratos Afins, which is based in São Paulo, Brazil.

I Say I Say I Say is the sixth studio album from synthpop duo Erasure, released in 1994 by Mute Records in the UK and Elektra Records in the U.S. The album was produced by Martyn Ware, who was a founding member of veteran synthpop groups The Human League and Heaven 17.
Upon its release it became Erasure's fifth consecutive album to hit no.1 in the UK, generating three Top 20 singles. In the U.S., I Say I Say I Say debuted and peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200, easily beating their previous highest chart placing. In Germany, the album climbed to #6.

The album was recorded in Ireland and London and continued to display Enya's sound of multi-tracked vocals with keyboards and elements of Celtic and New age music, though Enya believes her music does not belong in the latter genre.
