От этих ребят из далекой Норвегии можно было ожидать, в прямом смысле этого слова, абсолютно все! И вот, до меня, наконец-то, дошел последний диск Ram-Zet, который получил довольно нестранное название для этой группы "Freaks in Wonderland", что в переводе на нашь родной язык означает "Чудаки в стране чудес".На самом деле, чтобы записать такое, нужно быть либо действительно гениальным, либо абсолютно сумасшедшим. В общем, слушатель решит для себя сам. От себя добавлю, что я очередной раз восхищен тем, как ребята владеют не сколько инструментами, а именно мелодией и умеют создать абсолютно любую атмосферу.

It was encouraging that this album still had a touch of the guitar work that had enlivened Yello albums over the 14 year span represented by “Zebra.” Mainstay Chico Hablas figured on the single “Tremendous Pain” along with new name Marco Columbo, who did honors on that song as well as “Night Train” and “I…I’m In Love.”

It was discouraging to hear Yello chasing after the then-current acid jazz trend with the longish “Move, Dance, Be Born.” the minimal lyric seemed to be paying lip service to the x-fueled dance trends of the time with a blatant Ibiza sound. This was perhaps to be expected with the band signed domestically to the 4th + Broadway dance label subsidiary of Island Records.
