Если последний на данный момент полноформатник Entombed и дебютник Entombed A.D. разделяли аж 7 лет, то второго альбома Entombed по версии Ларса-Йорана Петрова пришлось ждать недолго - прошли два года, и, вуаля, перед нами “Dead Dawn”. Итак, что же скрывается под порядочно ободранной головой, в уста которой вложено название альбома?А ничего нового. Песни с “Dead Dawn” вполне могли бы выйти на дебютном “Back To The Front”, равно как и песни с дебютника могли бы попасть на второй диск. И, честно говоря, трудно сказать, какой из альбомов от этого бы выиграл: на “Dead Dawn” есть более любопытные в плане композиции и аранжировок песни типа “Down To Mars To Ride” и “Hubris Fall”, но при этом нет вещей с уровнем хитовости “Second To None” и “Eternal Woe”. C учётом того, что дэт-н-ролл - достаточно угарный стиль, такие перемены вряд ли можно назвать положительными.
