Burn is the eighth studio album by Deep Purple, released in February 1974. This was the first Deep Purple album to feature then-unknown David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes from Trapeze on bass and vocals.

The Clyde Valley Stompers were the quintessence of the 1960’s European traditional jazz movement. The Clyde Valley Stompers turned professional in 1956 led by trombonist Ian Menzies after founding member Jim McHarg emigrated to Canada. They subsequently recorded with the iconic ‘Decca’ label and during the next five years took part in a series of tours with influential jazz artistes from wider afield including Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet and Kid Oliver’s Original Creole Band.

"Alone" is a song by the Bee Gees. It is the opening track on the multi-platinum Still Waters album released by the Bee Gees in 1997, and the first single from the album. The song is a pop ballad written by Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb recorded in 1996. The track was a big hit worldwide, peaking at #5 in the UK and dominating the charts in Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia at #1. In the U.S. the single peaked at #28, making it their final top 40 hit in that country, after being a Billboard "Hot Shot" debut at #34.

There are several versions of editions: for example, for Eastern European countries on the album cover, the singer is depicted against the background of the Eiffel Tower to evoke associations with France; on the cover for Western European countries, the singer is depicted lying in rose petals, referring to the album title, the name Chilling With In-Grid was also added to the album title. In addition to the covers, the editions differed in the order of the tracks, some songs also had different arrangements and duration in different versions.

Bad Town Blues was the brain child of Adam Norton. With a set of Chicago Blues standards they cut a 4 track demo, and played their debut performance at the Colne 2000 Great British Blues Festival. The band subsequently worked all over the country on the club and festival circuit playing original blues and covers, sharing stages with acts as diverse as The Blockheads, Dr Feelgood and Otis Grand.

Following the group's record deal, they released their debut album Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip in 1992 to positive reviews and commercial success. The group began working on a follow-up in 1993 but experienced an unproductive recording process due to personal issues, notably those of member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who was struggling with alcoholism and her volatile relationship with football player Andre Rison. The album's recording lasted until September 1994, with Lopes' role diminished while she was in rehab.

A pop and pop rock record, Funhouse was inspired by Pink's separation from her husband, Carey Hart. To record the album, she enlisted her previous collaborators, such as Billy Mann, Butch Walker, Max Martin and MuchoPsycho, while also involving new music producers and songwriters, such as Danja, Jimmy Harry, Tony Kanal and Eg White.
