This album is Martin's fourth marketed in the US, and is his second album in English. It includes the hit singles "She Bangs" and "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely".

The song was covered by American singer Belinda Carlisle, produced by David Tickle for her sixth studio album A Woman and a Man. Her version was much more successful charting at #6 in the UK and #11 in Australia accrediting gold by ARIA. As of January 2004, "In Too Deep" was the 312th most played song ever on Australian radio.
