These are, after all, the first three albums they recorded in Australia after arriving here from England. Their debut was recorded when Barry was just 19 and the twins, Maurice and Robin were 16. It seemed like a fun, joyful time because this feeling makes its way onto the record. And while they did not produce chart “hits” per se, this time was fruitful in providing the solid groundwork for what was to come. The three albums have not been released before in a full, comprehensive form. The closest anyone has come is to release these as compilations like Brilliant From Birth. But in that case the track ordering was muddled and the original artwork was not used. Tony Hadley, legendary solo singer and Spandau Ballet front man who’s currently in the I’m A Celebrity Jungle has announced a series of live dates with an orchestra for October 2016 including a date at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Apart from the live dates Tony Hadley has also announced his first ever Christmas album. Produced in Italy the album features two brand new songs together with some of his favourite Christmas classics. “The Christmas Album” will be available worldwide on November 27th physically, digitally and through all streaming partners. The first single from the new album, “Shake Up Christmas” will be serviced to radio stations in November together with a video for the track.

In April and May 2014 during their European tour, Pentatonix began working on PTX Vol. III. Since they weren't always in one place at a time, the album was recorded at various tour locations such as Singapore, New York City and Japan. The arrangement and recording process in the album was different to those of previous albums as the songs were pre-arranged and the outline of the song was created before its details were filled in.

That's Christmas to Me debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 and peaked at number 3 in its fifth week on the charts (selling 99,000 albums in a week within the US, up 193 percent), achieving their biggest sales week ever. The album became their second top five album in 2014.

PTXmas is the second extended play album by the a capella group Pentatonix. The album was digitally released on November 12, 2012, and physical versions were available from November 13, 2012. Deluxe Edition was released on November 19, 2013 with 2 additional tracks.
The EP was the sixth highest-selling Christmas album of 2013, with 168,000 copies sold.
