Альбом записывался в разных студиях: если работы над вокалом проходили в Новом-Орлеане, в городе Луизиана в студии Nothing Studios, то остальные музыканты записывались в Техасе, в студии Chaisin Jason Studios. 13 июля 1996 года во время концерта у Фила Ансельмо случилась передозировка наркотиками, но Фила быстро откачали.
