Вскоре после разрушения стены, разделяющей ФРГ и ГДР, в марте 1990 года в Восточном Берлине прошел первый металлический фестиваль, включающий Kreator как хэдлайнеров мероприятия, а также Coroner, Sabbat и Tankard, и привлекший около семи тысяч поклонников запрещенной ранее метал-музыки. Впервые за долгое время любители получили возможность официально приобрести продукцию в виде дисков и мерчандайза, а самое главное - увидеть легендарных уже тогда Kreator в зените своей славы, тогда еще не замутненной экспериментами со звучанием. Немного раньше, в 1988 году, Kreator удалось пробить "железный занавес", отыграв концерт в Польше.
