Теперь о музыке. Запись альбома отличная. Барабаны Стива, как обычно, узнаваемы своими бочками. Гитарные партии сделаны в лучших традициях фирменной, не очень навороченной, Дисайдовской нарезки. Поэтому можно выделить одну важную особенность альбомов команды – каждый из них понимается мгновенно, с первого прослушивания (исключение составляет лишь “Legion”). Ну, конечно, вокал Глена Бентона выше всяких похвал. Видно, хоть человек не слишком умный от рождения, но петь умеет, поет эмоционально и очень в музыку. Такое не так часто встречается в данном направлении.
В целом "Serpents of the Light" - очень реальный альбомчик, один из лучших у группы.
