Paris is a live album by progressive rock band Supertramp, released in 1980 (see 1980 in music). It was recorded on Supertramp's Breakfast in America tour in Paris, France, with most of the tracks taken from a 29 November 1979 show at the Pavillon de Paris, a venue which was once a slaughterhouse. The album was originally going to be called Roadworks. Paris reached number 8 on the Billboard 200 in late 1980 and went Gold immediately, while the live version of "Dreamer" hit the US Top 20.

After his stint with Jethro Tull and as the wave of new romantic pop groups were taking control of the airwaves, Eddie Jobson entered the studio to record his first solo album, known as Zinc, although it was meant to be titled "The Green Album" and billed to the band name "Zinc" -- the record company messed things up quite a bit. This is an honest effort of when-prog rock-meets-synth pop. The songs are often better than Drama-era Yes and turn-of-the-'80s FM or Saga. In terms of writing and production, it sounds like Jobson is emulating Rupert Hine, whose art-pop gem Immunity came out two years before Zinc.

Crazy Lixx are another Swedish sleaze revivalist group, and sound exactly like you would expect them to. Take a base of Skid Row, add some Mötley Crüe attitude, a pinch of Europe’s pop-sheen and Def Leppard’s penchant for an anthemic chorus, package it in a shiny modern production job, then give it a ridiculous name and silly hairdo. The album starts as it means to go on with “Hell Raising Women:” simple, catchy hooks matching simple, catchy lyrics – nothing new to hear, but fun all the same.

Even in the Quietest Moments… is the fifth album by progressive rock band Supertramp, released in April 1977.
The album was recorded mainly at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals and mixing completed at The Record Plant in Los Angeles and was Supertramp's first album to use engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band for their next three albums as well.

Meester’s voice is strong, sultry and yet vulnerable and gentle. The tone and even texture to her voice have this mysterious and dreamy feel that compels you to press repeat. The thought to press skip doesn’t cross your mind for any of the songs because they are all that good. Listening to the whole album is like embarking on a relaxing boat ride of sweet, soothing melodies accompanied by perfectly strummed acoustic guitars.
The songs vary in tempo. Songs like “Good for One Thing” and “On My Side” pick up the pace and lift you up. But then there are songs like “Dreaming.”

Finally! As of 2014, Lick My Decals Off, Baby, The Spotlight Kid, and Clear Spot had needed a proper remastering treatment for quite some time when Rhino came to the rescue, remastering all three in one fell swoop as Sun Zoom Spark: 1970 to 1972. As if that weren't enough for fans, they added an entire bonus disc of outtakes and alternates as well. The albums themselves are fairly different from each other. Lick My Decals followed directly after Trout Mask Replica and is the closest there is to Trout Mask's sonic assault.

Jerusalem was formed in the early 70's and released in 1972 a self-titled album on the infamous Deram label which was produced by Ian Gillan. They gigged all over Europe supporting Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Status Quo before disbanding due to "musical differences". The band reformed again in 2008 releasing their second album "Escalator" to much acclaim.
Now for their third album with original members Lynden Williams and Bob Cooke they are joined by the cream of the Prog Rock crop Geoff Downes (ASIA,YES) and Nick D'Virgilio (Tears For Fears, Spocks Beard) and they have produced a stunning brand new Prog Rock album.

Do It Again is an extended play (EP) by Norwegian electronic music duo Röyksopp and Swedish recording artist Robyn, released on 23 May 2014 by Dog Triumph. The extended play coincides with Röyksopp and Robyn's joint tour, the Röyksopp & Robyn Do It Again Tour 2014, featuring shows in Europe and North America.

Texas Flood is the debut album of American blues rock band Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, released on June 13, 1983 by Epic Records. The album was named after a cover featured on the album "Texas Flood", recorded by blues singer Larry Davis in 1958. Produced by the band and recording engineer Richard Mullen, it was recorded in only three days at Jackson Browne's personal recording studio in Los Angeles.

Soul to Soul is the third studio album by American blues rock band Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble released on September 30, 1985 by Epic Records. Recording sessions took place between March and May 1985 at the Dallas Sound Lab in Dallas, Texas. Vaughan wrote four of Soul to Soul's ten tracks; two songs were released as singles. The album went to #34 on the Billboard 200 chart[3] and the music video for "Change It" received regular rotation on MTV. In 1999, a reissue of the album was released, which includes an audio interview segment and two studio outtakes.
