Quarterpast - дебютный альбом голландской группы (название в честь культуры народов Майя) MaYaN, которая по сути является сайд-проектом Марка Янсена (основатель Epica и экс-участник After Forever) и клавишника Джека Дриссена (After Forever).
Компанию им составили:
гитары - Фрэнк Шифорст (Symmetry, Christmas Metal Symphony, Control Human Delete, Prostitute Disfigurement),
бас - Йерун Пол Тесселинг (Pestilence, Obscura),
барабаны - Ариен ван Везенбек (God Dethroned, Epica, Imperia, Delain, HDK),
ритм-гитара - Исаак Делахойе (God Dethroned, Epica).
Вокальные партии исполняет целая плеяда известных музыкантов: Марк Янсен - гроул и скрим; Ариен ванн Везенбек - гроул; Джек Дриссен - скрим; Симона Симонс (Epica) - меццо-сопрано; Фло Янсен (ReVamp, ex-After Forever) - сопрано; Хеннинг Бэйз (Sons Of Seasons) - чистый вокал, Аманда Соммервиль - спокен ворд и итальянская оперная исполнительница Лаура Макри.
Музыка MaYaN представляет собой симбиоз из Death, Black и Progressive Metal, украшенного симфоническими оркестровыми аранжировками.

Julia was born with music in her blood, as her mother is a pianist and her father plays the guitar. Julia began to sing, play the piano, and star in musical theater productions as a small child, and studied voice and composition at the renowned Eastman School of Music, as well as New York University and Univerisdad Panamericana de Guadalajara.

The Sarah Weller Band is new on the scene and is led by vocalist Sarah Weller who isa Perrier Jazz finalist but whether the term jazz is appropriate remains to beseen. The selection of songs on the album is a mix of newer and older compositions.

"The Radicle" is vastly different from the majority of electronic albums out there. It has a decidedly soulful, blues-y feel and instead of the ‘here’s ten club tracks, will this do’ approach, Tim took his time and immersed himself completely into the record, surrounding himself with some of the best contemporary jazz musicians around, including Jim Mullen (guitar), Rod Youngs and Enzo Zirilli (drums), Pete Wareham (sax), Jay Phelps (trumpet), John Donaldson (piano) and Ben Hazleton (bass).
