This is one of many compilations drawn from Paul Robeson's 1930s recordings for the British EMI label. Despite being referred to in the skimpy, often inaccurate liner notes as a "selection of his greatest performances," it mixes some of his best -- including "Ol' Man River" -- with the sometimes second-rate material he was given to record. Still, with 20 tracks and a running time near 58 minutes, it is an adequate collection if purchased for a discount price. Don't spring for it as a high-priced import, however; there are better domestic collections and better imports.

The Italian is the debut album of Italian baritone Patrizio Buanne. It was released in the United Kingdom on February 28, 2005, and in the United States on March 7, 2006.
The album is composed of romantic Italian tunes, influenced by the songs of Italian and Italian-American singers (such as Sergio Bruni and Frank Sinatra) that Buanne heard played as a youth in his father's Italian restaurant. Patrick Kelleher & His Cold Dead Hands are a five piece band from Dublin, Ireland. Their critically acclaimed album 'You Look Cold' was released on Osaka Recordings in 2009. A remix album followed in 2010 called 'You Look Colder'. It featured remixes from the likes of Jape, Hunter-Gatherer and Legion of Two.
Their second album 'Golden Syrup' is released on 12th September. Moving on from the previous more DIY / lo-fi sound we now find them embracing a more gothic synth sound. Reminiscent of lesser known early 80's electronics pioneers such as Robert Rental, Thomas Leer and John Foxx but also drawing comparisons to such contemporary artists as Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti and John Maus.

The song was "inspired" by an 1881 composition, "The Spanish Cavalier" by William D. Hendrickson. Ted Black's orchestra had the first major hit.

Sleeping With the Enemy is the second album of U.S. political rapper Paris. Released in 1992, it stimulated much controversy with the songs "Bush Killa" (a revenge fantasy about the assassination of then-President George H. W. Bush) and "Coffee, Donuts & Death," (a cop-killing tirade). It also featured a young DJ Shadow on production.

Malice in Wonderland is the only studio album by Paice Ashton Lord. It was released in 1977.
