"Zero" is a song by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It was the third single from their third album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. "Zero" was written by Billy Corgan and was the first song recorded for Mellon Collie. The song has six rhythm guitars, with two line-in twelve string acoustics. Commercially, "Zero" reached number one in Spain and number three in New Zealand. In North America, the song reached number one on Canada's RPM Alternative 30, number 15 on the US Mainstream Rock chart, and number nine on the US Modern Rock Tracks chart. In the United States, the song was released as an EP, so it instead charted on the Billboard 200, making it to number 46.

PCD is the debut studio album by American girl group The Pussycat Dolls, released on September 12, 2005, by A&M Records. In 1993, the Pussycat Dolls was created as a burlesque troupe by choreographer Robin Antin. After attracting media attention, Antin struck a joint venture with Interscope Records to develop the Pussycat Dolls into a brand, with Jimmy Iovine assigning the project to Ron Fair. As one of the executive producers Fair produced the majority of the album and collaborated with producers like Kwamé, Polow da Don and Rich Harrison. The album is primarily a dance-pop and R&B record. Lyrically the album incorporates sexual innuendo and explores the themes of feminism and romance. It features guest vocals from rappers Busta Rhymes, Timbaland and will.i.am.

The album features ten cover versions of popular songs from films and musicals, as well as one original song written by the group. Hollywood was recorded with The Puppini Sisters standing round one microphone. It is the last album to be recorded with Stephanie O'Brien, who departed the group in 2012. Hollywood received mixed reviews from critics and charted at Number 16 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.
