Beaubourg is a studio album by the Greek electronic composer Vangelis, released in July 1978. It was the fourth album produced by Vangelis in Nemo Studios, London, and his final album for RCA Records. It is an avant-garde-experimental album.

Albedo 0.39 is a studio album by the Greek electronic composer Vangelis, released in 1976. It was the second album produced by Vangelis in Nemo Studios, London, which was his creative base until the late 1980s. It contrasts with his previous album, Heaven and Hell, which was classically inspired and choral, while Albedo 0.39 has blues and jazz overtones. It was his first Top 20 UK album.

The Platinum Collection is one of Sandra's most comprehensive compilations to date, including all of her single songs released between 1985 and 2009 as well as some album tracks, remastered and arranged chronologically. Many of the songs are presented in shorter single edits. Two versions of the album were released: a 2-CD version and a 3-CD set, the latter including a selection of extended mixes originally available on 12" maxi singles. CD 3 also enables buyers to download 5 additional extended mixes in MP3 format and 5 high-quality photos and biography in English and German in PDF format (with the same content as the booklet in physical releases). A total of 23 exclusive tracks are included in this release: 12 previously unreleased on CD, 10 that were previously available on CD single only (or other formats such 12" single at the time of its original release; now out-of-print), and 1 that was previously available for promotional use only.

20/20 is the twentieth studio album by Canadian rock band Saga. The album marked the return of original singer Michael Sadler. The album charted at No. 13 in Germany, the highest since their 1985 release Behaviour.

The Final Cut is the last Pink Floyd album to feature founding member Roger Waters, who went on to leave the band in 1985. It is the only Pink Floyd album without founding member and keyboardist Richard Wright, who had left the band under pressure from Waters after the Wall sessions. The recording was plagued by conflict; guitarist David Gilmour felt many of the tracks were not worthy of inclusion, but Waters accused him of failing to contribute material himself. The contributions from drummer Nick Mason were limited mostly to sound effects.

The Dark Side of the Moon explores themes such as conflict, greed, time, death, and mental illness. Snippets from interviews with the band's road crew and others are featured alongside philosophical quotations. The sleeve, which depicts a prismatic spectrum, was designed by Storm Thorgerson in response to the keyboardist Richard Wright's request for a "simple and bold" design which would represent the band's lighting and the album's themes. The album was promoted with two singles: "Money" and "Us and Them".

A Momentary Lapse of Reason received mixed reviews. Critics praised the production and instrumentation, but criticised Gilmour's songwriting, and it was derided by Waters. It reached number three in the UK and US, and outsold Pink Floyd's previous album, The Final Cut (1983). It was supported by a successful world tour between 1987 and 1989, including a free performance on a barge on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.

The record builds on ideas explored in Pink Floyd's earlier recordings and performances, while omitting the extended instrumentals that characterised the band's earlier work. The group employed multitrack recording, tape loops, and analogue synthesisers, including experimentation with the EMS VCS 3 and a Synthi A. The engineer Alan Parsons was responsible for many aspects of the recording, and for the recruitment of the session singer Clare Torry, who appears on "The Great Gig in the Sky".

The Best of Pink Floyd: A Foot in the Door is a greatest hits album by English rock band Pink Floyd, that was released as part of the Why Pink Floyd...? 2011–12 remastering campaign. It was later released on vinyl on 26 September 2018.
