Rattle and Hum is a hybrid live/studio album by Irish rock band U2, and a companion rockumentary film directed by Phil Joanou. The album was produced by Jimmy Iovine and was released on 10 October 1988, while the film was distributed by Paramount Pictures and was released on 27 October 1988. Following the breakthrough success of the band's previous studio album, The Joshua Tree, the Rattle and Hum project captures their continued experiences with American roots music on the Joshua Tree Tour, further incorporating elements of blues rock, folk rock, and gospel music into their sound. A collection of new studio tracks, live performances, and cover songs, the project includes recordings at Sun Studios in Memphis and collaborations with Bob Dylan, B.B. King, and Harlem's New Voices of Freedom gospel choir.

All That You Can't Leave Behind is the tenth studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and was released on 30 October 2000 through Island Records and Interscope Records. Following the mixed reception to their 1997 album, Pop, All That You Can't Leave Behind represented a return to a more mainstream sound for the band after they experimented with alternative rock and dance music in the 1990s. At the time of the album's release, U2 said on several occasions that they were "reapplying for the job ... [of] the best band in the world". U2 brought back Eno and Lanois, who had produced three of the band's previous albums. The album was originally named "U2000", which had been a working title for their PopMart Tour.

Achtung Baby is the seventh studio album by Irish rock band U2. It was produced by Daniel Lanois and Brian Eno, and was released on 18 November 1991 on Island Records. Stung by criticism of their 1988 release Rattle and Hum, U2 shifted their musical direction to incorporate influences from alternative rock, industrial music, and electronic dance music into their sound. Thematically, Achtung Baby is darker, more introspective, and at times more flippant than their previous work. The album and the subsequent multimedia-intensive Zoo TV Tour were central to the group's 1990s reinvention, by which they abandoned their earnest public image for a more lighthearted and self-deprecating one.

The Best of 1990–2000 is the second greatest hits album by Irish rock band U2. It was released on 5 November 2002 through Island Records, except in the United States where the album was released on the Interscope label as a single-disc CD compilation. The Best of 1990–2000 & B-Sides was released on the same day with a second disc featuring 14 of the B-sides released between 1990 and 2000 and a bonus DVD with a trailer for the album and three other segments. A video album of the same name was later released in December 2002.

При более тщательном прослушивании группа ошарашивает тем, что многие гитарные партии – это передернутые и изуродованные классические хард-роковые, а то и блюзовые партии, помноженные на грайндовую агрессию. Да-да. Именно с этого альбома мы слышим порой откровенно стоунеровские риффы. Что-то вроде позднего Cathedral. Хотел бы я узнать список музыкальных фаворитов Дона Кочино (гитара). А песня «Games of Humiliation» сражает наповал своим полу акустическим финалом с надрывными стонами вокалиста! Вокал на альбоме предельно ироничен, ядовит и разнообразен, да еще и тянет в унисон музыке.

Прослушав весь альбом, до мозга костей проникаешься атмосферой, которую создают лихие ветры PRIMORDIAL. Название пластинки означает посвящение безымянным мертвым, павшим на полях сражений, закончившим жизнь на виселице, и вообще многим, кто пожертвовал собой ради высоких идей или захлебнулся в волнах тирании. Музыка ирландцев неповторима и уникальна – она навивает тревогу и беспокойство, но вместе с тем монолитна и гармонична. Риффы входят в резонанс с ментальными волнами человека и заставляют вдумываться.

Итак, альбом получился жёстче и минималистичнее, нежели их предыдущий "Spirit the Earth Aflame" и совсем уж сильно отличается от того фолк-дума на "Journey's End", главным образом из-за большего акцентирования блэковой составляющей... В итоге по духу мы имеем фолковый ирландский "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss"... Хотя такое сравнение ни коим образом не может точно охарактеризовать сей альбом, ибо аналогов здесь найти просто невозможно. Звук на альбоме стал более мясистым и жёстким, что меня в общем-то удивило, т. к. альбом писался в легендарной Academy Studio,

Ирландцы Primordial издали свой первый альбом еще в 1995-м, но переиздание в России настигло его только 14 лет спустя. За прошедшее время материал хоть и не стал классическим, лишним в биографии коллектива абсолютно точно не смотрится. «Imrama» справедливо относят к неординарным, исключительным произведениям своего времени. На десяти дорожках оригинального диска – узнаваемый Primordial: возвышенный, трагичный, никуда не спешащий, сочетающий в себе блэк-металическую колкость с эмоциональностью и пафосом, характерным для пэган-металической сцены. На данном диске материал еще немного сумбурен и от того только более очарователен, что, возможно, делает его наиболее подходящим для знакомства с отнюдь не самой простой и «доступной» командой. Ведь не зря ирландцы метко назвали свою первую демо-запись «Dark Romanticism», что как нельзя точно подходит для описания их музыки взамен тривиального «doom/pagan».

War in My Mind is the ninth solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Beth Hart, released on September 27, 2019. The album was produced by Rob Cavallo. Hart will tour the UK and Ireland in support of the album in 2020.

My California is the fifth studio album by Beth Hart, released in 2010. Hart worked with Danish producer Rune Westberg, who had already worked on Beth's previous albums 37 Days and Leave the Light On. Westberg challenged Hart not to "scream with animal savagery", not to rely on the power of her voice but rather on the power of emotions. This makes My California a unique album in Hart's discography, with a constancy throughout the tracks that the fans were not used to with the previous albums.

Leave the Light On is an album by Beth Hart. Several versions of this album exist, ranging from the very original release in New Zealand in the spring of 2003 (on Warner Music NZ), the standard international version released worldwide later in the fall of 2003 (on Koch Records), then several specialized reissues in various European markets over the following few years. The German release (on Universal Music GmbH) contains entirely new recordings of three previously released songs, as well as three newer songs that would later be re-recorded for her next studio album 37 Days.

Beth Hart received a considerable boost from her collaboration with guitarist Joe Bonamassa, but her 2013 album, Bang Bang Boom Boom, finds the blues-rock belter returning to her comfort zone, working with producer Kevin Shirley and running through a selection of songs that are originals; songs that emphasize Hart's range and power. In some ways, this is the purest record Hart has yet recorded; there is a real sense of what she can sing and how she lays back, waiting for the moment when her wailing would create the strongest disruption.
