Только для поклонников группы, интересующихся различными раритетами, демками и каверами. Диск "The Rarities" - это демо-сессии к альбомам '97 и '98 годов, причём отноюдь не трублэкового качества, как можно было бы подумать. При этом "нового" мало - всего два неизданных инструментала. Диск "B-Sides" получился куда интереснее и "вкуснее" - тут и кавер-версии на группы Dead Can Dance и Slowdive и live-треки, и даже пара песен в оркестровой "обёртке". Кое-что было издано на синглах, которые так и не были лицензированы в России. Буклет содержит множество комментариев - в частности, известно, что the Gathering исполнили кавер Pink Floyd "One Of These Days", но, увы, этот трек так и остался неизданным. Оформление лицевой стороны обложки диска по цветовому решению немного напоминает тиаматовский "Wildhoney". Опять они что-то курили...
