«Awake» – это альбом, который воспринимается на одном дыхании. Хочется слушать его снова и снова. Музыкальное полотно материала состоит из настолько плотно связанных между собой компонентов, что создается впечатление, будто слушаешь элегию. Красота, сложность, насыщенность звука поражает воображение. Гитара заливается фантастическими пассажами, перекликаясь с ударными партиями, и все это под пронзительно-красивый вокал LaBrie. Причем прерогатива каждому инструменту отдается в той или иной песне.
