Группа из США (штат Орегон, Портланд) снована в конце 1995 года. Основатели - J. Haughm and S. Breyer - записали демо, подобрали состав группы, в 1998 году записали промо-кассету для лейблов, которая помогла заключить контракт с The End Records. Так что в январе 1999 года музыканты отправились в студию записывать дебютный альбом. "Pale Folklore" был издан летом 1999 года и является воплощением темной, мрачной музыки, волшебной и эпической, с влияниями фолклора. В середине 2001 года был издан материал 1998-2001 гг, не вошедший в альбом ("Of Stone, Wind and Pillor")
