Всего через год после «Колыбельной паука» Король выпустил новую работу, превзошедшую, по-моему, все предыдущие. Состав группы, студия, звукоинженер и продюсеры остались прежними, что явно пошло на пользу, а изменился только лейбл – Massacre Records. Записывались весной 1996 г., а свет «Кладбище» увидело 30 сентября. Остается лишь удивляться, что в 1996 г. и King Diamond, и Mercyful Fate – оба проекта Кинга – выпустили очень сильные альбомы.
