"Carved in Stone" - очень противоречивый альбом: для тех, кто знает и любит предыдущие альбомы группы, он, как минимум, странен, а для тех, кто только начал знакомство с Rage, он потрясающ. Вот такой вот парадокс. А суть его в следующем. С одной стороны, "Carved in Stone" - очень драйвовый, забойный и угарный альбом, на нем нет ни одной проходной вещи и с вокальной, и с гитарной точек зрения - короче, слушать его приятно, песни красивы. Поэтому альбом очень нравится второй категории слушателей. С другой стороны, "Carved in Stone" очень уж прямолинеен
