Попытаться дать определение стилю "Today Is the Day" - задача не из легких. Достаточно вольготно разместились тут и отвлеченные альтернатив-роковые построения, и заунывно-прогрессивные пассажи, и едва ли не грайндкоровая агрессия, и обильные эксперименты с нойз-музыкой. Вместе с тем, чувствуется, что настолько рациональными в своем музыкальном сумасшествии могут быть только американцы, - у соседей из Канады, как правило, все несколько бестолковей и бесцельней, англичане же, по обыкновению, не делают столь заметный акцент на технику исполнения. А вот у Стива Остина сотоварищи с техникой все в полном порядке, что нам и не забывают демонстрировать на протяжении всего лонгплея.
